| Post subject: | how to forward merge a set |
Yesterday I was gaming this 2 set and I thought wouldn't it be nice to forward merg, and get my obstacle busy for a while. But i actually had no CLUE how to open the second set without looking like a fool for my first set. I can't use normal opening routines because it would seem silly for the girls. "Why isn't he facing those girls i thought we were going to make some friends blablabla". After you have been talking for a while it seemed stupid to use the same opener AGAIN. SO i just started soem kind of discussion and said we could use a third opinion and I asked another set of girls. But it didn't was as smooth as I hoped. Can anyone explain how exactly to forward merge. Thx a lot |

if you ask a THIRD opinion the set you already have is going to catch on. instead be inbetween the two sets and over your shoulder open with a situational opener or something shes wearing. But i actually had no CLUE how to open the second set without looking like a fool for my first set. There are hundreds of different opinion openers, you can make them up on the spot. "What is your favorite Matt Damon movie?" or whatever. Just lean fire away an over-the-shoulder opener to a set adjacent to you, without turning away from the set you are in. |

So in these examples you both don't "warn" your set about your intend of forward merging If I see mystery he is always like "Let's go make some friends" but never said how he approached the second set |

You know how opinion openers usually involve something along the lines of "My friends and I were discussing/debating so and so...?" Open set #2 with something like "Hey, what do YOU guys think? We in set #1 were thinking... blah blah blah." Don't actually say "set #1," though. |
