Post subject:  Ad offer from Nick Shane
So a lot of you have informed me that you've received an offer over PM from Nick Shane. I brought it up with the Forum Admin and I finally got word that it's a no-no.

Ignore all messages from anyone offering to pay you to advertise their stuff in your profiles or signatures. According to the Forum Admin (not me), that's illegal. In fact, don't link to any advertisements in your profiles and signatures at all, regardless of whether or not you're getting paid.

Didn't mean to overspeak Chiefy bud, I just had assumed that the same rules were in place as before, but after thinking about it, I figure you may have talked about it with Gambler some and things HAVE changed? If not, then yay me and my awesome knowledge of the rules! :lol:

Well, if there were any changes to the rules, that would be "The Forum Rules" that you and I were responsible for. Other than those ones that we wrote down, I don't know of any previous rules that were in place.
