There i was, relaxing in a nice hot bath thinking about what i wonderful life i have. Then BAM. I had a brainwave With no offense intended, the newbie section is starting to piss me off a little, its the same questions over and over again. Most of them are about where to start or common things people come across within the first few months of learning about PUA. As much as i like racking up my post count typing the same thing over and over, it isnt very productive and isnt helping people starting since everyone is different. My idea to solve this is simple, a starters guide. A sticky in the newbie section in which there is a set of instruction on how to start out being a PUA. So why do I need experienced help with this and not just go and type it? thats simple, i am one man and brilliant as i may be i cannot possible imagine every problem, concern and gerenal question people joining the game would have. But i will come back to this later. What i hope to achive from this post, or something that may turn out to be a small ebook. is a basic outline of simple princeibles, inner game advice and also a step by step guide of how to practice PUA in both day and night game. (a simple opening, increasing in compexity, AA killing techniques and general slow improovement). The things i believe need to be included: Description and simple example of a, neg-DHV story- Push Pull, Kino. Why inner game is important and things to help improve it. Why oneites wont work out. A simple step by step guide to approching, ranging in difficulty going all the way to a number close. A summery of common mistakes and how to avoide them. A list of day 2 idea's and short pointers (just general things). Important phone game tips. Body language and peackocking etc. Suggested material for starters (not a big list, stuff like "the game") grooming, styling, and why looks dont matter but appearence does. Ok, what i want from the experienced people: Do you think its a good idea? Can you think of anything that needs to be added or isnt needed? Are there any posts on the forum already giving *detailed* advice on any of these topics? Looking forward to your responces. /madals p.s. if anyone would like to write a suggested section(s) then please do so and either post it here or PM me with it (dw, i will quote you so you get the credit). Hopefully with the help of experience people we should be able to get varied and detailed starters guide. |

Yeah, I think that would be very helpful! I'd be happy to help and put together a couple of things for that sticky thread. Just send me a pm and we can arrange something With no offense intended, the newbie section is starting to piss me off a little, its the same questions over and over again. I love the idea. A word on looks should be added. I know too many guys who are stuck with the thought that looks matter and that they don't deserve anyone because of that. A section on grooming, styling, tips, and so on to get the "Yeah, but I'm not good looking"-guys on the roll. |

Ok, i have started to put together some of the things already. Zip is helping me considerably with regard to putting things together. However, i have had very few offers of people willing to help. I cannot stress enough how much better this will be if we get input from the expereinced people within the community rather than just one or two people ranting on and on from their own point of view. /madals |

gentlemen, let's work on this together so that it's a communal contribution rather than a few of us circle jerking, mmmkay? Locke wants to contribute something on relationships, so that's another person we can add. Roads, Hobbit, Ka, Medic, Kinoescalator, jsmooth, par... come on, y'all? |

It'll be difficult to write a structured book with multiple authors on this site communication will be difficult and there's too many personalities some peoples styles don't appeal to everyone(direct, relaxed, laid back, etc). There's plenty of Good Posts here already from each of those styles for those Chapter topics u mentioned So I Suggest making it a reference to noteworthy post so, you can begin each chapter with a bit of an intro example of what i think it could look like: Chapter 5 A simple step by step guide to approching, ranging in difficulty going all the way to a number close: (some intro) (noteworthy post) reo - i have no fear madal- always be closing zip- make it happen its just a thought |

Oddly enough reo it is what i have been doing so far. The main problem is that these posts while brilliant are designed for people who are already in the know of what to do. There is a need for some re-wording and also arranging. Your first point the it would be a problem that there are so many different people with different styles is actually what we need. Because it is going to be sent to everyone when they join we dont want it to be all from one persons point of view. It is majorly restricting the points of view put across. In the same way, everyone on this forum have different specialities. Some people rock day game, others C&F, some NLP. Its not meant to be a super book explaining everything, just a basics to get people started since to be honest, who wants to spend out some serious cash on a method just to find out its not to their liking? |

There is alot of assumpution that people have read books on this topic before therefore they think that they dont need to talk about the real basics when in fact this not always the case, so u really need to do it as though its the first time they have encountered this |

Ok, i have been hard at work all day on this (been raining so didnt want to go out). The good news is i am nearly finished, i have loads of stuff and its looking really good. I would offer to post it on here for everyone to read but at juearly 18,000 words it might be a little long. What i still need information on is the following: Style, fashion and generally advice on looking the best you can. Descriptions and examples of Negs, Push pull etc etc. (all that sort of techniques APART from DHV (zips doing it) More stuff on inner game And ofc, anything else you think would be good. /madals |

I think you should talk about being an alpha male or link to the stickie. I have seen a lot of questions about that lately in the newbie section. I don't think they look at the stickies and realize there is a whole post dedicated to it. |
