| Post subject: | Defining the mPUA |
What exactly is an mPUA? The term flies around so much - This guy's an mPUA, you're an mPUA, he's well on his way to becoming an mPUA, I'm an mPUA - that I feel that it is an over-used and yet under-defined term and that a clearer definition is needed. What is an mPUA? A Master Pick Up Artist would be one has, obviously, mastered the art. And how does one master the art? Simply put, a master of the art would be one who truly understood the art well enough to not only create new routines and openers which everyone does, but to actually add to the field of PU. If The Arts were a university course, the mPUA would have earned a doctorate - having published (or submitted online) revolutionary new theories or created their own new methods of pick up. Take Style, widely recognised as one of the most successful and famous PUAs - he mastered numerous methods, submitted numerous new theories and created his own method and is accepted by all as an mPUA. Those who have written eBooks which are often recommended - mPUAs. Those who are often asked for advice and have strong, unique insights in PU - mPUAs. So those of you who are good enough to be called mPUAs - get writing your pick up thesis and adding to the field! |

The Five for Five rule is how Mystery and Style (seeming as you mentioned Style) say its judged. If can you approach five sets and end up with five relationships you have gone for five for five. |

Fuck that 5 for 5, I could go, and have gone five for five a few times and I'm nowhere near mPUA level. I've even gone 35 for 35 on k-close and 3 for 3 for f-close... I'd put it more on the ability to understand HOW one goes five for five... i.e. I went 5 for 5 but I couldnt explain how I did it or what I did/didnt do to another PUA. The ability to control yourself to the level where you can understand what caused you to go five for five is the mastery part IMO. |

How have you only gone 3 for 3 on f-closes yet gone 5 for 5 on LTMR? Also five for five is not that you can a few times, it's that you can consistently.

Nobody mentioned consistancy before hand, like I said I'm new to this, I presumed it was just you could open, develop a level of comfort to day2, k-close whatever, five times without being colded-out by a set... I never claimed to be even near mPUA, I just said the 5/5 thing was too easy a level to the considered one. |

when they say 5 for 5 dont they mean opening 5 sets.. and establishing a "relationship" in each one. I dont think they mean intimate relationship but rather legitimate friendships..whether man or woman? am i wrong..? |

I wasn't saying that I think they are the best, just saying their definition. Then I miss typed some initialism and looked around nervously.

In my opinion, a mPUA is some1 who can get any girl they desier at any time. But at the same time are satisfied with what they have made of their life, and that they are 100% in control of it. Some1 who has created their own existance and social reality and therefore are everything they want to be and can be anything they later choose to be. |
