Post subject:  THE BEST DHV EVER!
HAHA! I got in a 40 neds vs me fight and walked away with a slight laceration under my right eye, and a bruised jaw. I just found out that in the fight I gave out..

2 Broken noses.
2 Burst lips.
1 concusuion.
2 facial lacerations.
5 facial bruisings.

Long story short.. theirs a guy I know who I have known for roughly 4 years now, and we consistently try to piss eachother off for fun. I had turned up at his school over several lunchtimes wrestled him too the floor then left.

I turn up their on thursday to do it again then 40+ plus neds flood out of the school gates and surround me asking "you looking for aliastair?" (note these guys don't know me and Ali are friends and assume that I am an enemy or rival of alastair.)

I try to explain my situation "Well yeah but not in that way". I try and break throught the crowd to find alaistair and defuse the situation. Makes things worse. I''m now standing right in the middle of them getting that shoulder barge shit.

I do my mental checklist and in my head say to myself.


1. This is going to end in a fight.
2. This is going to hurt alot.
3. You are going to leave with some kind of injury.

One of them starts walking towards me again, and so I strike first to gain some sort of advantage. I fight for about a minute or so before feeling dizzy and leaving. I think the reason I did so well was becuase I've been doing loads of different MA's since I was about 9, and I joined a gym 6 months back so I'm starting to get alot bigger than I used to be, plus the I instilled fear becuase the last thing they had expected was for their "victim" to initiate the violence and actually take the offensive in the situation.

Anyway purpose of title, the respect I have gotten from HB's in that school and from girls who have heard of the fight has flown through the roof.

I'm not condoning violence... ....just....... think about it for a bit. :wink:

Neds are fucking scum, I personally believe they have formed as a result of a power vacuum as police here can do jack shit due to beurocratic legislation, these youth gangs have come forward to fill the void.

I don't believe they had any intention of letting me leave without a fight, the way these guys work is too slowly shoulder barge then push then punch, the situation escalates so gradualy it's hard for the victim to understand when too respond, I prefer to be on the safe side and attack cause 95% of the time some sort of physical assualt is handed out. I think it's good to admit your going to get hurt, it removes the fear.

Not quite cetain on how the situation is being percevied, whether I was a victim who got a way and in the process jacked a couple of them up, or if it was a full class "fight".

I think the moral is, that a demonstration of a DHV is far more effective than a story of planted spike. So I'd advise some people here to find away to integrate a live demonstration of abilities, it really has a much better effect.

40 guys? bullllshit. a 1 vs 5 fight rarely wins in the favor of the solo man.


trained in martial arts of any kind would teach you when to back down and 40 guys would just be common sense.

dont know how it works across the pond but if 1 person were to try that many people they'd end up a bloody goo stuck to the floor for the janitor to clean up....maybe things are different there.

I was roughly two years oldler than them and I did walk away, as I've explained backing down sin't really an option in that situation, it's this wierd feral instinct of these gangs, their not offended or angry in any way, their just wanting to fight.

Read the post again you'll see that my first option was to find a cool down route, but it kinda tangled me up more.

you have to realise we are talkinga about a good part of a secondry school here. However the numbers that actualy went for as oppossed to those who threw a punch or kicked me in the leg then jumped back to dance around like a bad kung fu film probably differs.

At what point did I claim to beat them up? My statement is that I fought them off and escaped in good shape. I'm guessing you read the first couple lines and smacked the reply button. I suggest you read exactly what the post says.

If I'm going to brag, why here, their are thousands of forums out their where a braggy fight story would be much more appropriate.


Question being do you agree or disagree? "A demonstration of higher value is better than a story attempting to demonstrate value"
