Hey dudes, the title is self explanatory.

For curiosity sake, do you guys think girls are more attracted to a guy's face or body?

why? lol Are you going to change one of them?
What do men like better? Women are about the same.
I say its face for attraction, both body and face for sex, making face more important. just like men.

Very subjective. Some girls care a lot about how big a guy's dick is, some care about the size of his hands, some care about whether he has rock hard abs, some care if he has a really handsome face. It all depends on the girl as for preference. Some girls, just like some guys, aren't attracted to people with certain features, or even different races, because of those facial/body features.

When it all comes down to it though, who cares? Women care much less about any of those things than guys, typically speaking, so they are much more concerned with whether you are groomed decently and that you have a good personality. Personality is what is truly attractive to women.

Does a pickup artist even think in these terms?

Edit: yeah, Rye, you pretty much nailed it - props man, my response was superfluous ;-)

Yea, Rye did nail it on the head.

Everybody's taste is different.

Put it this way it both matters.

fat (obese)+ nice face = unattractive

fit + ugly face = unattractive

Just trying to put it in perspective... not trying to say you won't get laid if you are a bit overweight. :P

Hahaha, that's pretty fucking funny.

It really comes down to a hip to waist ratio for us men. It's the same with women, but the ratios are a bit different. Studies have shown that women are more focus on the back (traps/wings/delts). This gives the illusion of a higher waist to hip ratio.

I had a friend who was pretty ugly, but he pulled fine women regularly. He had the best body I've ever seen in the gym I work out at and it's on a campus of nearly 30,000 students. Twelve pack abs and broad shoulders. I saw these two girls stop a basketball game one time just to stop and get a picture with him.

Body > Looks

From a female perspective I totally agree.

I have several friends that care more about the body. Me, Personally, I look more at the face. However, that doesn't mean I want to be with someone who is way overweight. I am not so I expect the same. Lots of times if someone is overweight they are seen as not caring about themselves.

One thing that is positive is that personality and body can fixed.

If you know how to dress, present yourself as a fun guy, and are confident nothing else really matters.

umm killian i dont know about that last sentence.
You women just love to say you are less superficial than us but I think men and women are exactly the same when it comes to this. I think I look pretty good but im quiet and not fun at all, but I know an awsome guy who doesn't look that great but is sooo talented and interesting and funny and can make anyone he talks to laugh, and he gets about the same kind attention that I do from both men and women. I'm saying looking good isn't everything but it REALLY helps.

I've always been a pretty decent center of entertainment at parties and any sort of social group, that's just my personality and achetype, I'm an Alpha Male. Doesn't mean that I was getting any attraction from women, cause it was very little and far far between. Just being fun, funny, interesting to talk to and having some talents doesn't mean the girls are gonna flock to you, that's why we learn better ways by studying to become PUAs.

I'll tell you that I used to be told I was ugly on a fairly regular basis. I've gotten teased about everything a guy can be teased about really, from my ears, to the way I walked. Don't pity me, cause I don't want it and I never did; I wanted to figure out how I could be so able to interact with people, yet unnable to attract the girls I wanted and over the last year and a half I've figured it out. I can't remember the last time I was called ugly by a girl, sure a few guys may have tried, but we all know guys are just chodes when they try to AMOG a guy.

The thing is, I really didn't change all that much about myself as far as looks go. I got a few piercings in my ears, I shave my head now cause I'm balding at 23 (which should only make me look worse because I don't exactly shave it every day), I grew a goatee and I wear contacts when I go out. Throw on some decent clothes and women open me, women are happy to go to bed with me and many more make out with me in the middle of the bars. If I got rid of all those changes, I bet the same thing would happen as long as I were able to keep myself in the same mindset, because none of those changes affected anyone else as much as they affected me.

All the changes guys make and go through in order to become a PUA are really quite unneccessary and superficial, but the reason why they work, is because it changes how the guy feels about HIMSELF. Sure, peacocking works wonders, but I get opened without peacocking at all and dressing pretty conservatively, because of my attitude and that's part of the reason why the peacocking is so effective, it changes guys' attitudes so profoundly by being so bold.

You're gonna reach a point where you'll look at everything you do and realise that putting on the certain clothes, or accessories isn't to attract the girls, but to make you feel the way you want to feel, so that you are in the right mindset to talk the way you need to talk. I wore my glasses to the club one night and everyone reacted to me the same way as they do with contacts, but I was feeling self conscious and so I didn't act like I normally do and so I didn't perform as good as I would have liked.

It's not what you wear, it's not how you look, it's how you FEEL and how you ACT that makes all the difference.

I think this is worth repeating. I see lot of smart, funny, good looking guys dating girls that aren't so smart, funny, or good looking. The only thing separating these men from the studs is their inner belief. So have a good outlook on life, and place the highest value on yourself like you should.

i try to keep everything looking good. and yes, anyone can look good if they try. that means go to the gym, get nice haircuts, take care of your skin...etc. that also goes for women. any girl can be hot if they try.

From my experience girls are way more attracted to how tall a guy is then anything else. Some times I eavesdrop and when girls talk about guys it's their height that I hear mentioned more then anything.

This is a common theme if you listen to what kind of guy a girl wants, just ask her. Either tall will be the first thing or the last thing they mention when listing qualities they want in a man but they will almost always mention it. They will almost always mention his personality also. Being able to take care of himself is also frequently mentioned.

However a touch of alpha personality and this is easily over come. Girls will forget if you are 5'4" very quickly if you establish that you are the leader not the guy who is 6'4". I don't think anything can't be overcome.

Rye Lee that was an excellant post and you are absolutely right that personality matters the most in the long run. I'm just making the point that men and women are equally superficial, and looks do play a big part in attraction. Everything that you said about improving your confidence, (probably minus the shaving bald lol) when applied to women, still makes perfect sense. Wouldn't you prefer a confident women over a fragile beauty?

Oh hell ya! Every night I go out hoping to find some girls that have confidence, to see the look in their eyes and be able to tell that it's not just the drinks, or being horny that makes them able to lock eyes with me. Unfortunately it's highly rare, which is why I seek it I guess.

Women have that same desire inside. If they see a man with real confidence and they feel it in when you lock eyes with her, it really doesn't matter one bit what you look like, just as long as you do your best to look decent and you like how you look. I think if you're completely lazy and don't bother to try and look good, then she'll be able to see that. If you're unnable to fix the fact that your nose is broken, or you're a midget, or in a wheelchair, then just accept your condition and do as best you can, they'll treat you better than if you don't bother because you hate the fact that you're unnattractive by conventional standards.

When I was in Vancouver last month I saw some guys in wheelchairs at the bar and I ended up talking to one of them. He was a fucking cool ass guy and the guys he was with were fucking cool too, so these guys in wheelchairs had like 2 and 3 girls around them at a time, totally all wanting to fuck the shit out of them. Moral of the story, personality and doing the best you can to look good (these guys were decently groomed but nothing fancy) works, regardless of what you look like or what you think is holding you back. Don't give me excuses, they just won't float.
