Yea when yous ay no say it playfully/serious tone and body language and complain about doing everything for her either way you want to get close to her by doing these things its better to do so but what i have said will work fine.

I have noticed this a lot lately and it pisses me off. A girl will ask me to do something that is so small that if I were to say no it would make me come off as a downright asshole. Here is a real life example that just happened a few days ago. We had just finished eating dinner and she was sitting outside with me and a couple friends and she asked me if I would take her plate in for her. I told her "no" and then she looked upset/surprised that I said that and said "please", so I took it in. What is the best way to respond to these small compliance tests? |

Its ok to say yes to compliance tests. However, make sure you give that person a hard time for it in a teasing/funny sort of way. Dont give in easily. |

What would be a good teasing/funny thing to say to her in this instance when taking her plate in for her? Would this be good> "do i look like your butler or something? I'll take your plate in for free this time but next time your gonna have to pay" |

Say "Sure...I guess. I dont see whats wrong with yours though. Weirdo!" While trading her plate with yours and walking away before she can contest. It will be funny and may even raise the energy level. Playful combative interaction. |

Like Mystery says, it's okay to jump through a small hoop of hers if you first make her jump through a hoop of yours. You just need to create a hoop of your own first. Quote: Say "Sure...I guess. Looks like such a small thing and it probably is. What is important is building an equal relationship in the long run. Dating is a win-win and a partnership so it's cool to run favours, just be sure to get something in return. Suckers comply with everything, losers try to make everyone comply, winners play off everyone in exchange for everyone else, including themselves. Find balance and you will always win. |

she was compliance testing me again and i basically busted on her hard and said no im not gonna get you a drink and then a couple minutes later i got it for her after making her wait. i think she realized im not a kiss ass wuss like what shes used to and she liked that. |

So all you did really was convince yourself that you weren't a kiss ass then after a few minutes you did as she said. What I would have maybe used here was something that I got from Road Trip - strange I know, but anyway, when she asks for a drink just say "I'm not thirsty yet.", but make it C&F.Unless you are buying rounds for one another then there is no reason you should be buying a drink just yet. - SC |
