The reason why telling a girl you're a struggling artist living with your parents, or the guy that employs all of the homeless people picking up cans in the city, or some other crazy job, is that they aren't sure if you are telling the truth. It' not the honesty that hooks them, it's the fact that you're still a cool guy and now they're curious about whether it's true or not. Blatant honesty will bore the shit out of them.

I just got this idea from watching part 3 of episode 1 from Keys to the VIP. >> http://youtube.com/watch?v=L3G5lAFBmv0 I know this idea sounds a little crazy but give it a chance. The objective on this episode is to convince a girl that you're an unemployed artist living at home with your parents. So many guys try to walk up to women and verbalize how they are rich, successful, and a really great catch. I think woman can sniff it out and are getting sick of the shit. I think that verbalizing a horrible job or something like that for example near the beginning of the conversation while being funny and playful says "HEY, I AINT TRYING TO IMPRESS YOU, JUST TRYING TO HAVE FUN AND HAVE A GOOD LAUGH" and I think woman find this very attractive. This guy got an awesome kiss close at the end of the episode by a chick who truly thought he lives with his parents and she was blushing like crazy. She was super attracted to him. Hell, the other guy got a kiss close too. Woman love honesty. Im gonna start using this technique. Im gonna say that Im a garbage man, drive a POS car, and that I live with my mom. I'm wondering if most of this shit is setup. I saw that one dude that opened with "hi, my name is XXX, what is your names?", then he transitions into telling them a stupid ass lame joke. I mean, in all his time doing pickup, what would make him think that would work, and then some kid (non-pua) comes in and does a PUA move on the girls? Yeah, I'm not buying some of that shit.

Rye Lee, your right. If I said that stuff I would certainly tell them in a half serious kinda way to keep them guessing. After a few hours of knowing her I would let her know I do something else so she doesnt think I was trying to impress her. NO, Im not a garbage man, and NO I dont live with mom, but YES I do drive a POS car so that would be the truth. Im mostly just gonna use this technique for shits and giggles and to see the reactions I get. I like making woman laugh and keep them guessing whether I really like them or not.

In that case, then the garbage man, liiving at home thing would be fine to use. Like you said, remember that it's just about making it fun and keeping her guessing. Don't convince her that it's true, but don't let her be able to tell you that it's bullshit and unbelievable.
