Wow that title seemed cooler in my head, but I'll let it stick even though I think of hippies. I've been noticing that some of the routines and tactics don't work that well on the girls with full chest tats and a bunch of piercings. My game has been progressing nicely, but for some reason this group of girls doesn't respond to the material in the same way. Anyone else notice this? or is there something that I am missing? |

hehe The game takes all kinds, man. With any interaction you have with anyone, you've got to relate to them in some way before they open up to ya. If you are expressing your Inner Game in an authentic manner (anyone can relate to authenticity unless they are completely accustomed to living a fake life themselves), any girl will respond to you positively. If you are using canned material that isn't congruent with who you are, a lot of girls won't respond well to it. This is especially true with girls in the counter culture and various sub culture groups. People that stray away from the mainstream are generally more self-aware of their own authenticity and tastes in one way or another, and can be very cynical toward anything they perceive to be "fake." I was running a bunch of standard routines on this one girl like you described, such as the ESP routine and the cube, but the entire time she was like, "Yeah I know most people pick 7 and I'm not like most people blah blah blah." Yeaaahh canned routines equal fail with counter culture chicas. |

Probably because they have low self-esteem. People that latch onto such a fringe in-group have identity issues that they are trying to sort out.

[quote="FictionProbably because they have low self-esteem. The thing you need to keep in mind is the rating system, though you may see them attractively as a 10, you have to keep in mind that the rating system is more of how confident/approaced they are. All guys will approach a hot blonde cheerleader, but guys like you and me tend to prefer the "counter culture girls" but not many guys do. So she may turn out to be 7. So cut back on negs, be fun, and active. Most tend to like to talk music so catch up on your artist background (even if you do not like the band...) and post back your results, I know the guys will enjoy the help. |

lol, sounds ironic when posted on a forum dedicated to a fringe sub/counter culture doesn't it.Also you may want to consider tribal theory here, chances are if your dressed in say a dark button-up shirt, jeans, etc... very clean with only a little peacocking... your not going to seem as similiar to a punk/goth girl as say if you were dressed similiarly to my avatar. If the girl wants to visit and/or join your 'tribe' it makes it 100x easier then if she doesn't like your 'tribe'. |

I would contend that those who latch on to in-group aspects for PUA likely have self-esteem/identity issues as well.
