Now I’m all for going out with the lads, getting hammered.. and having a great time! HOWEVER Over the past couple of weeks I have come to realise that if you want to run quality and successful game, it certainly helps to be sober! I think learning to pick up women is like any other skill set, when you do it again and again you get better and better and you go on auto-pilot, before you know it, your DHV’ing, or vibing with the girl, picking up on her interest and escalating without even thinking about it. Much like when you learn to drive a car, on your first few lessons you make so many mistakes! You drive again, and again, and eventually.. when you get in your car, you don’t even think about what your doing… and the next thing you know your at your destination! If you think about drink driving (I’ve never done it, so obviously this is based on assumptions), your awareness of what’s around will suffer, your going to judge obstacles wrongly, basically your going to crash and burn! When you link this to drink sarging, its likely that you are going to mis-read signals, fail to deal with obstacles, your awareness of your skill set and your need to escalate will be worse. Basically you are going to run shoddy game! THEREFORE… Although I am not one to talk, as I have failed to go on a night out and not have an alcoholic beverage…. I think that you need to make a decision before you go on a night out! Am I going out to have a good time with my mates? (and maybe open a few sets but wont become reliant on that), or am I going out to extend my social circle and potentially close a girl, and get a new fuck buddy? I am going to be assessing my nights out in the future and making decisions on whether I’m going to drink dependent on these! |

i agree. when you are tipsy or drunk (being all fun and crazy) and going to talk to people you get interest but no attraction. |

Interesting topic.I've only went out once without drinking and I crashed and burned without alcohol! But the best guys in the Game are mostly non-drinkers whilst they sarge aka Mystery,Style ect. |
