I remember a saying - 'No such thing as a silly question' Well i come on this forum daily and have recently just started posting replies to people because some people make threads which are totally Stupid and ask the stupidest of questions. Ive been gaming for almost 3 years mainly on my own or with one of my friends. Not once did i come on and ask am i doing this right am i doing that right ? Alot of people on here seem to want acceptance or answers for stupid things. I learned through trial and error, yes rejection happens - thats what makes you a PUA you are going to get rejected its garauntee'd it builds your emotional state of mind and makes Winning that HB10 or getting the girl you've fell in love with so much better. The point i would like to make is simple; Once guys on here realise 'Fuck it' they will get so much further in PUA the amount of times ive walked by a girl and literally said 'Fuck it' out loud and turned to talk to her is ridiculous. Sorry for the rant guys and i know alot of people are on here sincerely to get help but the best help you can get is adopting that attitude and changing your mindset. If im being a twat then please let me know... |

While I do agree that experience is a great teacher, and that nothing beats learning stuff the hard way, I have to disagree on the part where you say people asking for confirmation is bad. Usually people with low self esteem have that level because they have a bad history in that certain field, so what they really need is a confidence boost. Having confirmation from people better than you and seeing results for yourself are great confidence boosters. Getting them both at the same time might be just what you need to get out of your shell and stop asking those "stupid questions". I know that's what happened to me. Even in high school I used to be very quiet simply because I was clueless with girls(not that I am any better now). But the fact that I eventually got a girlfriend got me out of my shell and made me act better and more careless around girls. The same principle might apply here. |

I agree that some people may have low self esteem and be looking for the confidence and acceptance of others more knowledgable. However from my experience you have to bring yourself down to build yourself back up. You will gain confidence in even saying 'Hi' to different people saying such things as 'have a nice day' 'are you having a good day'. There is literally thousands of posts on here asking questions and looking for closure. Fair enough there is alot of newbies and I am by no way ruling myself out of the newbie factor yet... but i just think guys should try the simple things before saying so i read 'the game' by Neil Strauss and i walked up to a girl and couldnt talk... what did i do wrong ? Well go look through the other posts there is plenty out there. |
