Post subject:  Mexican dating culture
Hey!

I recently met an amazing latina and had this idea of starting a thread about the best practices of dating a mexican girl; knowing that there is a noticeable cultural gap between mexican and american/canadian dating.

Feel free to share any knowledge you have about the differences between mexican and american ways of dating!

Machismo plays a pretty big role for some, fatherliness/provider roles more so with the older women

make sure you practice dancing before you take her to anywhere with a dance floor, according to "Step Up 2: The Streets", a documentary on Mexican culture - they love that shit and they're great at it

In south america, where people are in general more sexually open, you have to have the balls to play their game.

Girls over there will reject you directly without save your face if they are not interested on you; in contrast, if they are interested, they will be more assertively and they want you to physically escalate on them as soon as possible.

Not like in United States or other West country you have to build a lot of comfort 1st, there's not much comfort you need to build at Mexican. THe game over there is all about Escalating & be Passionate.

If you have the balls to get rejected big time, you are sure will have some exotic memory there too :)

I think it depends on what type of Mexican she is (I know, this is weird):

Chicana - Born in the US with close ties to Mexican-American culture.

Coconut - Basically, the equivalent of calling a Black person "Oreo", usually born in the US

Mexican Mexican - Born in Mexico with close ties to Mexican culture

Chicanas and Coconuts tend to be more Liberal in dating practices, in the sense that, there are no real defined rules with these two. You'll have to pick up on their personalities to understand what type of chick you're dealing with.

Mexican Mexican women are usually more conservative. They like a macho but they want you to be a gentleman as well (open doors, blah blah). They are also often very religious, but not enough that they won't put out.

Similarities in all three is they will cut you if you cross them. jk But watch your back, they are very passionate.

Well I'm from Mexico and I can tell you that here in the 1st date sex is 70%-30% of getting it.
