Hey guys. Just thought I'd share something with you that I've recently discovered. Someone else has probably come up with it before but I've realized it myself recently while doing a ton of daygame. Basically, what I've found is if you call out the awkwardness of the situation and make it into a joke it puts the girl at ease. For example, I might say something like "This is awkward right? Embrace it! Embrace the awkwardness!" and the girl starts laughing and is put at ease. This is especially useful in difficult environments where the girl might feel more awkward than usual. For example the other day I opened a girl while on an escalator by saying "Hey, sorry to corner you on the escalator like this, you can run away when we get to the top if you want but I thought you were cute and wanted to say hi". By saying this I showed her that I'm not some uncalibrated psycho who doesn't understand how she may be feeling. This put her at ease and we had a great interaction which continued after we got to the top of the escalator. Hope you find this useful. Sly-Mike |

I would try to avoid awkwardness altogether. Have enough material to not have long gaps in the conversation or shoot for the nclose if you implied a time restraint at the start of your approach. |
