He guys, I've been dating this girl for 2 months now. I do like her and won't mind if things would get more serious, BUT NOT RUSHING INTO THINGS! Haven't banged her yet. Have done everything else but sex. She was at my place last night. I brought her to the bus. When she got home she texted me 'I have to admit something, I think you like me more than I like you.' So we texted on and on, but the main thing that bothers me is that she texted that she doesn't know if she could fall in love with me. She said that she doesn't want a relationship at the moment, but just look how things go. I have the same opinion about that, but I won't mind if it turns into a relationship either. I might have rushed into things on the 1st date. I've told her about my past (been through a lot) and just dropped out of school. I thing that she might see me as an unstable guy or something. I don't really know what to do now. Some friends of mine suggested that I just talk/text her for a few days and wait till she texts me or something. What do you guys suggest? |

That I like her as she is, but that I know her way to short to decide whether I could fall in love with her at the moment. |

You should have invalidated her statement. You were to scared to lose her and she knows that. At this point, my self esteem wouldn't allow for me to pursue anything else with her, so I couldn't give you an answer on what to do next. Hopefully one of the other guys can help you out.

She thinks you're clingy. Freeze her out. Tell her, "Okay. No sweat. I didn't really think we were compatible anyway." Then start talking to other girls. This will hit her self-esteem and leave her confused. She might come back with questions, in which you have the upper hand because then SHE is looking for validation. You've probably already screwed the proverbial pooch on this one, when a girl says something like that it's hard to come back from it. Worth a shot. Good luck! |
