Hello there, I was curious as to what everybody has read when it comes to The Game. I have read various books and have found them rather interesting. Anybody got any good suggestions?

I've read:

The Game - Neil Strauss - An obvious one
The Art of Seduction - Robert Greene - A brilliant book, a must read!
Why Women Have Sex - David Buss/CIndy Meston - This was a psychology book but was extremely interesting.
The Power of Eye Contact - Michael Ellsberg - This was superb, again I reccomend. It really changes your way of thinking about eye contact.
How To Make Somebody Fall in Love With You in 90 Minutes or Less - Nicholas Boothman - I found this one to be rather disappointing sadly.
My Secret Garden - Nancy Friday - Christ, this book was brilliant. Prior to reading it I had felt somewhat guilty and lonely when it came to any sexual urges, I had the silly idea that women weren't interested in sex. After reading it I now think women are filthier than men and I love them all the more for it.

I read these books purely to enhance my game and understanding of women/sex/relationships. I need to re-read them though to cement the ideas and principles each one laid down. After all like a great man said:

If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.

Oscar Wilde

At the moment I am currently reading a social psychology textbook (it's taking me a long time though as it is a proper educational textbook), The Six Pillars for Self-Esteem and Sperm Wars.

What about everybody else?

No More Mr. Nice Guy - Dr. Glover
How to be a 3% Man - Corey Wayne
The Noble Art of Seducing Women - Kezia Noble
The Drama of Being a Child - Alice Miller
(not directly relevant but helps you understand your wounds)

Any thoughts on those then?, I have jotted them down but I am curious how they helped you, if they did.

They all have various things to offer

Corey Wayne is a very good overview, I don't necessarily agree with him on everything about when to share yourself but broadly speaking his info is good, there are a lot of things that his way is only one of many ways, he is excellent on humour and how to use humour to defelct and keep things on a good attractive vibe

Kezias book is very readable and enjoyable, it helps with conversation skills

Glover's book is good about having your own boundaries

Alice Miller's book is essential for understanding how childhood shapes our psyche and how many of our personality traits which we consider negative developed to compensate for shorcomings in our parenting.

Ah thats great man, appreciate the response. I am intrigued by Kezia to be honest so I will probably read her book out of curiosity.

When it comes to boundaries could you explain what you mean?

I am definitely going to read Alice Miller's book though, that sort of psychology fascinates me!

THIS DOES NOT BELONG IN THE LOUNGE!

The lounge is for discussing theory or at the very least a new twist on an old idea.

This belongs in the general questions area.

Peace and Love,
