Post subject:  How to attract a woman, prop items (mysteryish)
One of the ways you can show the most confidence and dominate and I'm sure a lot of you know this is going against social trends. One of the ways you can show that is by using a persona and props. mystery hasn't copyrighted this although I'm sure he would if he could.

Basically the idea is that you pick an item that is so out there, so strange, that they have to see it and comment on it, that guys are going to make fun of it. women will be strangely intrigued by it.. And the idea is to have ready made responses for the comments you get on it, this means that the more you use a prop item the better you will be with it. Once you handle the situations that without a doubt will come up due to you wearing them, or acting in a certain way WELL, you will threaten men and make them feel small, they will be trapped by the fact they look bad now and also feel unconfident. I'm curious to see how everyone else feels and thinks about the whole prop item thing.

Hey man, welcome to PUA Forum! I think there is a very fine line between having a cool, flashy prop that entices targets to open you and becoming a clown... Mystery's persona is that of a magician, and for him to wear weird stuff works because he is congruent with it all... Imagine Mystery dressed as usual and answering the "So, what do you do?" question with "I am a CPA/lawyer/project manager" or whatever "normal" job regular people have... his antics work for a small niche of people that do not appear "try hard" wearing stuff like that...

Some well chosen clothes/props will get you noticed... a friend of mine bought once a t-shirt with metal spikes on both shoulders... got opened every night he wore it by at least a dozen chicks, touching the spikes and asking him questions... great way to start a conversation... a cool necklace, bracelet, shirt will get you the same effect... I have a sleeve tattoo that gets some reaction from chicks in clubs... but I would draw the line at goggles or whatever Mystery's wearing...

You can still be a lawyer/CPA or whatever and still be a magician as a hobby as long as you are good and still be congruent. Just don't say your a magician and fail at your trick or just suck.

That being said, I think coming up with something clever where you can wear a prop that would go along with you. For example you could wear a professional camera around your neck and if people ask say a group hired you to take their pictures ( if you could get your friends to play along or offer your services for free to a group of people). Ive learned the camera is a powerful prop to get people to do things. Not my best idea but you get the picture.

I agree. I don't use a prop, but I've been using my hair as a way of achieving the same goal. There are all kinds of pitfalls that you can fall into with that which make you either look awful or like a "try-hard." But you can really do something as simple as getting a hair-cut that's different and girls will notice. If it's more out there than just noticeable, they'll comment on it.

I've gotten lots of comments and questions about what I do, and since the girls always start out wide-eyed and beaming, I'd say it's working. Whenever I get feedback, they'll say that they like it because it "sets you apart from everyone else" or "makes you look more individual." Of course there are some girls that won't like something that's different, but once I get further along, they always say that they can identify me from afar just by my hair.

Interesting how the general consensus from this thread is that basically it is hard to do this method without coming off try hard. So it seems to me this has an EXTREMELY high skill cap. I've used prop items in the past but to no where near the level of mystery. But i did find them useful if i carried them on me rather than wearing them. Thanks for the input everyone.

I'm curious if anyone else has ever gone full costumed. I tried it once and i found it to be very hard to maintain a high level of confidence during it.

Not sure if the joke was intentional but I love it :D

I agree, don't be afraid to stand out and be creative but also ensure it compliments your individual style.
You also don't want to fall into a frame of mind which is "I'm not wearing my lucky PUA hat/scarf/whatever today so I'll be unable to pickup women".

There is a fine line with this kind of thing, peacocking can be an effective thing if used correctly.
A short story, I was on a night out with a mixed group of friends and we saw this one guy... words alone could not describe him other than it screamed identity crisis its safe to say people were indeed noticing him, but probably for all the wrong reasons, if anything I'd say his taste/style appealed to a very small niche. Kudos to the guy he obviously must of had some courage or was super comfortable in his own skin, but for arguments sake if he was there to pickup women we was certainly overcompensating for something.

I've have a couple of times - Once as a Gangster and the other as Master Chief (from the game Halo) both nights I was out as part of a group of friends and picking up women was low on the agenda, but I can say I've had better nights out.

One thing I've found in particular is headgear is in for a rough time - It does have its pros and cons.
On the up side women and even some guys will want to wear it/pose for a photo etc. then there are people who will try sabotage your outfit, who will turn out to be a jerk and trying to steal it / try to barter with you or an item / end up breaking/tearing something or spits his dummy and gets confrontational out when you ask for it back etc.

I will point out some women will also turn on their charm and flirt with you to get you to part with something if its easy to carry.

My mate decided to get a rather expensive fedora which I've to admit was much better than mine, I found a cheap imitation in Primark for £5 (and did some DIY to sew a white ribbon round it).
I ended up losing mine but it wasn't so much of a big deal. His cost like £50-60... and trying to reason with a drunken asshole who won't listen isn't my idea of fun. It was testing my frame after this point as my patience was wearing thin.

To sum it up ensure its a cheap outfit and aslong as you don't mind it being stolen/broken then you'll certainly get some good attention. As far as pickup is concerned I've never tried but I wouldn't like to do a 'walk of shame' dressed as either of those haha.
