I know this forum is more about PUA than the situation I'm about to describe, but being that pickup artists understand women more than anybody else really, I'm posting this anyway. Here's the deal. I'm in college, both me and girl are 19. I met this girl about 6 months ago, and for the past ~3 months we've been hanging out alot and have been sexually active. To be honest, I think I may be falling for her (but thats a diff story). So this past weekend we spent pretty much every day together hanging out and doing our thing. When the time felt right, I just popped her the question: Me: "Do you want to make things official between us?" Her: "I was actually talking to my cousin about this the other day....Yes, I do, but I don't feel I'm ready right now. Me: "That's fine" 5-10 minutes later Her: "I just need a little time" Me: "that's cool, I respect that." So, what's your take on this? She has been in previous relationships and was not a virgin before she met me. She broke up with her last boyfriend like 10-12 months ago and I'm pretty sure she's over him by now. Do I have any chance of being in a serious relationship with this girl? (I know its not PUA-like and it's not what I intended to happen when I first met her but stuff happens). Is she being truthful here or is her response just code for "I like you, but I'd still rather test the waters." I guess I will just start sarging and freezing her out for now, but I'd like some opinions on this. |

Exactly. Freeze.Push/pull. That will break that LMR. It's funny how most problems in this forum can be easily fixed. |

First off spend less time with her..this is the universal relationship problem solver...almost everyone spends too much time with thier significant other and then you tend to run out of things to say/do, and generally start noticing the things you dislike about each other more frequently. Have other things to do, other people to go out with (platonic or not your choice), or just spend some alone time with yourself (not sexually i dunt mean that). Secondly you handled it very well and non-needy. Give her space and let her decide. Your not exclussivly (or officially if you wana call it that) with her now any way...so you have nothing to lose. Hope this helps. |
