I found this while watching Rachael Ray today and HAD to let Tripp watch it. This kid has SOOO much confidence and you can see it radiating. Watch the video and you'll see what I'm talking about! ~Cali |

Although those specific "lines" would never work for an adult male, the ones the boy uses (he does have the advantage of being a cute 11 year old boy after all, lol), his confidence alone is worth watching. If every guy in here had that confidence . . . you'd all go far. Of course, then Zip and I wouldn't be needed, lol. |

It's a sad sad day, when 11 years olds can attract women that grown ups can't. I can just imagine what gossip would be like- women fantasizing about the kids that picked them up and wishing they were good enough people for them. Female on male pedophilia is about to be on the rise. |

I will admit the kid has confidence, however... He's a little 11 year old kid... he's not actually attracting the women, the women just see some friendly kid who's asking them questions. So, what i'm stying is that's not quite pick-up. It is good that he's learning to lead conversation though. |

You're right. He's not attracting the women. I told my wife that before I ever posted this video. However, that's not the point. He has the confidence to talk to any woman that walks by him. Most adult men don't have that confidence. So, sure, he simply taught the guy to be more social. But, that very point, in itself, is 10 times further than what most adult guys are willing to push for. So, you take that simple point, and build on it. But now, take the adult man from the point of being willing to simply talk to a woman, then teach him how to actually attract a woman . . . and voila. |

The highlight of the video is the kids confidence...the lines will not serve him well in a few years, and my guess is when he see's how peers react to the things he's saying he will be in the older dudes position. Who knows, had we started that early with any lines we'd probably all be naturals tho. BTW Rachel Ray is hot |

Tripp -- I agree whole heartedly. The ability to talk to women is really the foundation of Pick-up. However, I don't like the fact that they sent in an 11 year old to help out that guy. Sure, the kid can talk to women, but his technique only works for an 11 year old talking to a woman. If that guy tries to use any of that to actually attract women, he's gonna get shot down, and hopefully he either realizes that, or was told off camera. And I also think the kid has the confidence to talk to any woman that walks by him because his goals are different. As a pre-pubescent child, his motives are utterly different than the adult male's. I mean 11 is like what... 5th, 6th grade... at that age it was a big deal to walk down the halls holding hands, and the women pick up on that difference. The only think I think that clip showed was that the producers know how to generate TV that women, who make up a vast majority of Day Time TV viewers, will eat up. If the kid had acted as a prop for the guy.... now we might have had something interesting, hahah. |

lucid, we're on the same page. I made most of those same points to my wife when she showed me the clip, but we can still get something from it, lol. The confidence of the kid alone. Plus, later in the show, the KID picked out a Philly girl FOR THE GUY to date. The guy didn't even pick his own girl. Now THAT was bad. On top of that, the boy's mom said he helps guys out all the time in this same way. |

Having a 'no outcome' expectation when opening a set does not mean that it is confidence, but the boy certainly is confident. He displayed a good, confident posture, and interaction. The guy did not though. Did you notice how awkward it is to meet someone and shake their hand with the other hand in the pockets. For the first time though on TV, he did very well. He probably also had a 'no outcome' expectation. Many guys cannot even do that. Having a 'no outcome' expectation can really help in many different ways. |
