Post subject:  Most interesting scientific studies

It is sometimes hard to find good and informative scientific studies and research
results. For the subjects sex, love, relationships, boy's-girls dynamics,
etc it's not different.

For me personally it's a great inspiration to get a better grip
on the whole thing, tweak my game and help others.

My question is plain and simple: What are your most interesting findings.
Statistics, articles, books, documentaries, etc

I'll start with a few:

http://phys.org/news10824.html

not too much depth here, but oh well:

bottom-line of this one: women who have an attractive waist-hip ratio are indeed more fertile, but also stronger
health wise.

so in general, it can be anything scientific that can in someway
improve our game... :)

One of the studies I've found to be compelling is Gender Differences in Receptivity to Sexual Offers by Clark and Hatfield (google it if you find it interesting).

It had strangers approach students on campus, asking them to either go on a date, go to their apartment, or have sex with them. If you ignore what it meant to study, the fact that are more willing to jump to sex than women, with a respective difference of 75% to 0% when asked for sex, 56% of women agreed to go on a date with a complete stranger.

I have a copy of that study. The researchers have a tight methodology for screening the women for logistical problems although the study participants who asked for dates didn't have any particular pick up methodology.

However, the methodology didn't factor any flaking-- just the women agreeing on a date. But of course, the more experienced PUAs know that asking women out for a date don't mean shit even when they say yes because if you can't make women horny during the interaction, women will flake on you.

I still review Helen Fisher's and Karl Grammer's empirical studies every now and then because I have designed my game mainly around the concepts of intrusive thinking and why testosterone laden men (bad boys) get laid a lot. Fisher's and Grammer's studies keep me grounded to see the PUA bullshit from the gems.

In simple terms,
  • Intrusive Thinking = Emotional Rollercoaster Ride (If you can give a girl emotional ups and downs, you can get her hornier)

Testosterone = Masculinity (Masculine men attract feminine women)
