Gentlemen, a few years ago a fellow named Ciaran made an extraordinary claim. He claimed that he found a really simple way of getting women to sleep with you. He called it the apocalypse opener. The premise is this: You walk up to a girl, and you say: "Hey". She says hi back. You ask "how's it going". She says ok. Then you drop the following shell: "do you want to go home with me?". According to him, the answer to this, in a very good portion of the cases would be a "yes", regardless of situation or circumstance. In the cases where its "no" initially, they will go home with you if you keep talking. I thought this was quite extraordinary... so I tried it. I went out to bars, and used that same opener, at least 30 times. Result? 30 "no"s. Credit where credit is due. My shirt stayed dry and my cheeks unslapped, but the conversations that went from there, went nowhere. Its an afwul opener because from the getgo it goes over the top and tells the girl that even though you know nothing about her, you already want her in bed. IMO, its a DLV, because it shows you are quick to jump in bed without preselecting based on anything besides what you see before she ever opens her mouth. It tells her you'd sleep with a lunatic, as long as she looked acceptable. I'm a fan of direct game, but proper direct game still requires the girl to qualify herself. AO doesn't. Background: I've seen, slept with, and dated girls most would consider to be attractive. When I used this opener, I had not just emerged from a WoW raid with hot pocket stains on my shirt. I already had experience and f-closes. None of the girls I used AO on were more attractive than the girls I've dated, and most were less. My claim: The Apocalypse opener is a crock of shit. |

Well i have said many many times, this and stelar methods, have very low % probability of working...Shocke and awe way better. |

One more qualifier: This was not done while rusty on game and fresh out of a failed relationship. I had a FB at the time, and was not in any way "needy". Other routines (and just being natural) worked, while AO didn't. |

You should try the shock and awe method. It is also a very direct opener but still a little more food for thought to it than AO. Tell me how it goes if you try it |

I'll look in to it. My favorite opener right now is "hey, you're cute. What's your name?" Then shake their hand and introduce myself.Works great. |

I'll look in to it. My favorite opener right now is "hey, you're cute. What's your name?" Then shake their hand and introduce myself.Works great. I dont ask for their names. Might start doing it if it works ! |

Lol I've only attempted it once and it worked but I credit the result only to the fact that we were eye fucking each other all night. It's an opener doomed to fail if you're going into it cold. Unless you're Brad Pitt. And agreed with the Shock and Awe- you will enjoy it. |

I tried it once and the woman said no, but then brought me to her place instead. I thought I hit a goldmine, and it has been a gigantic fail ever since. But, hey, if you're bored, it can be entertaining. |
