So I know it is written by me but I have had my flashes of brilliant in learning the game. Just the past week I broke my dry spell and had it not been for finals I would be doing much better (taking a break from studying). Yet looking back at my posts on here and seeing as to how some of this advice could have helped me and can help others, I think all users on here who don't have some sort of a grudge against me read these tips and give some feedback, also see how they are. Here we go:

1. Do not doubt yourself and put yourself down, the world is there to do that for you. Humans are animals, we’re mammals. In wildlife, when an animal shows weakness it attracts many predators which run after it with their best and eventually that animal ends up prey. The reality is that there are few resources in the world and so many people, as a result of all that competition happens.

Confidence is your sword as you fight on in life, without it you have no basic weapon.
Do whatever you can to get confident at any cost. No matter how rational or irrational it is, confidence will always work in your favor. The world will be more than ready to tell you that you aren’t good looking enough, too short, too different, and so on but the second you believe those words is the second you become a prey to this predatory world.

2. Quit blaming the world for your problems, it is your fault, accept it and do something about it. I know a lot of you out there have been through some rough times and rough situations. Growing up in a broken home, dealing with strict parents, going to a school that was terrible, being bullied, and so forth but you are a man now. Own up to everything that has happened to you and move forward. Be proactive not reactive to a tough circumstance. People who have grown up in tougher circumstances than you have made it out alive and prospered. Placing blame on others is the number one way to hold yourself back in life and the mentality of a failure.

In order for you to improve you must first accept the fact that it is your fault and no one else is to blame here. Once you have truly accepted that you are at fault, you can move forward and improve on your shortcomings. I know it is tough when things beyond our control happen but as cliche as this may sound, that’s life. Accept that what has happened has happened and you need to be better prepared for the future, in order for you to do that you have to be the man who accepts his mistakes.

3. Don’t seek sympathy, the world doesn’t care for it, it only cares about what it can get from you. As harsh as it sounds, the world could care less if your childhood and teenage years were full of many traumatic events. Yes, life is unfair, most of us did not have the lifestyle of a Kennedy, and so what. Other than a simple “awww poor baby”, the world does not want to hear anything else.

The world wants to know what you can offer it, this is the case regardless of continent, country, city, or town. Whether it is money, pleasure, or fulfillment, people want that one thing from you which can help them temporarily escape their harsh reality. Become that one person who can offer them an experience other people and things cannot. If you have truly lived a traumatic life, then a therapist is paid to hear your complaints and offer suggestions. Begging for sympathy from the real world will turn you into quick prey in a heartbeat.

4. You are who you hang around with, make full use of the opportunity to associate with potentially successful and attractive people. Just because the guy is good looking doesn’t mean he is a douchebag. Attractive girls are not all bimbos and most of them are decent people. Likewise, just because a guy is successful does not mean he is arrogant and spoiled. Often most people like to associate people who are successful and good looking with bad character traits for no reason alone but to feel better about themselves, it makes us happy to think that the good looking woman is a bimbo because that way we know we are somehow better than her on the “inside”.

Through my many years of experience with human beings, it is often the failures who try to drag everyone down. Also, ugly/unattractive (bad hygiene, overweight, etc.) people are usually the ones throwing out the insults and gossiping about the world. I am not being a fashion magazine editor and saying all people who lack good looks are bad people. The point to come away with here is that people with good looks and successful lifestyles have usually put in a lot of work for it and their habits will rub off on you. Other factors you should look at when finding a social circle are the work ethics that the people have and their attitudes. Bitter people who are constant gossips make for bad friends.

5. If you can’t answer the question of “What do I have to offer?” then you are screwed. The world doesn’t care if you are a nice caring guy or have never said a curse word your entire life, oh here have a little clap and get lost. The world needs things and it is your job to offer it. Now this principle becomes strongly apparent in the dating world when you have tons of lonely guys complaining about their situation. Whether it is good looks (which can be achieved), confidence, or security, you need to have something that you can offer to the people which determines your value in society. You need to be able to successfully answer the question of what you can offer to society in order for you to have any success.

I have to disagree somewhat. Not everything that happens to you - especially as a child - is your fault. But sadly, you usually do have to pick up the pieces after someone else's mistake affects you.

The fault always lies in how you deal with the curve balls thrown at you. The world could have dealt you a terrible hand, but to an attractive woman, it's ALWAYS how you portray your story and overcame such adversity (perfect for DHV spikes). Do not sit and narrate the sad details of your life, girls just don't want to hear it. They do, however, enjoy hearing about how you overcame such difficult circumstances. You must exude alpha qualities that put you in another league than she is used to.
