Last semester I was at a university which was like a commuter school. It had a lot of older students and younger students and wasn't your typical college. In many ways it felt like it was easier for me to pull off cold approaches and score with girls there.

Now I am at a top 10 party school, division 1a, and it is damn near impossible for me to get laid. Maybe it is because I just transferred in this semester as a junior but I have not gotten laid at all in my time here.

Everything is based on social circle and I am having a tough time developing one. I am FORCED to go to bars alone because none of my friends are the kind that want to go to bars, they think it is for shallow people. Like I have not been able to meet people who share the interest of going downtown, partying, and getting drunk/wasted. Since everything is based on social circle and I am having a damn tough time developing one that has similar interests as I do. Have hit a MAJOR DRY SPELL right now.

Yet it seems like in the real world you can get laid off of cold approaches and such.

I hate to say this but I realize that I am going to leave my new university as a virgin....

It isn't really that hard. It is easier in college because you can use your social circle to your advantage. The social proof and preselection will help a lot. I would say it is harder in the real world since you guys don't have that one commonality such as being students in a college. In the real world you are strangers. Either way, don't think about it too much, just play the game like it is supposed to be played and you will get results. Find and befriend friends. Don't try too hard and you will get invited to parties. Of course, be giving instead of taking. People invite those that show them a good time rather than take away from it.

I also go to a top10 party school. Start looking for people in your classes that look like they are cool and befriend them, participate in your classes and people will notice and be more accepting when you start talking to them. Junior year isn't too late to join a club. If you like sports start doing intramurals or if you have pickup games that regularly happen, a lot of those guys rage face. People only go to the bars with their friends, not really to meet new people so don't try there. I don't know your living situation but if it's an apt complex meet your neighbors and if they suck meet their neighbors, some of my good friends i met last year bc I lived next to them. A lot of my friends are from freshman year and my fraternity though so it's kind of too late for you to do either of those.

apartment has people of all age groups living in it sadly enough, we have a married couple living next door (WTF)

Lets cut all the bullshit. Its easier to get laid in college because the girl to guy ratio that is around your age 18-24 is the highest it will ever be in your life. It is simple as that.

If you think it's bad now, wait until you graduate. College girls are running around with college guys, and girls fresh out of college want guys in their late 20's and early 30's. But don't sweat that. Men reach their peak SMV at about 35 years old.
