- The silent, brooding, mysterious type
- The heart of the party; funny, kind, everyone likes him
- The cynical, sarcastic type, full of himself
- The type that enjoys himself no matter what, never takes things seriously, doesn't care what others think
Or some combination of those? Cheers.

I personally take a mysterious but playful and sarcastic "persona". Keeps them guessing but keeps them comfortable and laughing. Enjoying yourself no matter what should be how you are anyways.

Side Note: Being the "heart of the party" tends to get me into fights/arrested lol be careful if that's your angle you are going to take. It can annoy some people if your energy levels are too high. And acting "full of myself" makes me come off as a dick. All depends on who YOU are.

The most important thing about your "persona" is actually just discovering who you are and who you want to be and taking on that role 100%. Don't be fake or half ass it. You can be whoever or what ever you want to be but you better fucking BE THAT. (hope that makes sense lol)

Humans adapt to different persona or roles as they interact within different social circles. At work, I immediately transition into the strict and serious manager. At the martial arts gym, I transition into the silent and focused fighter. With my family, I transition into the funny and playful dude. With my high school classmates, since they expect me to be the person they used to know, I transition into the argumentative intellectual who always says his piece no matter what.

With my college buddies, I transition into the hard drinking, chain smoking life of the party and the reliable 'warrior' when trouble erupts. When sarging, I basically now adapt my vibe to the situation. But mostly, I am playful.

Ezo's Vibe Theory delivers the goods when you know how to adapt to the girl you're sarging.

With the intellectual types who have masters and doctorate degrees, you project a different vibe. You dress for the situation and speak formal language with lots of polysyllables and abstract concepts. With the college students, you speak a different variant with lots of monosyllables and people topics. With the sales ladies, you don't talk about your job or career or about money. You talk about the mundane and very sexual things like cock, pussy, fucking, and what have you.

Girls with lower education expect you to be more aggressive and not too polite. When you say "thank you" to the waitress or give a tip at the restaurant, they think you're gay and weak. But if you're with chicks who are educated in the finest universities, they would consider you rude with that behavior.

With college students, if you treat them at the fastfood chains, they'll think you're being a "sugar daddy". The best way to treat them and let them treat you is to tag them to the street corner for some street food. With the sales ladies, you bang them at home and let them cook your favorite meal.

With the masters degree types, you let them foot the bill or split the hotel bill 50-50.

If you need to have a "pickup persona," then you're doing it wrong ;)

No such thing as a pickup persona.

Role Theory is crucial in advanced pick up. Ezo coined it as Vibe Theory and rightfully so because there is not one persona or role if you want to have a great success rate in pick up. You should be able to adapt to multiple roles.

More elaborate details on Role Theory can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Role_theory

As to how Role/Vibe Theory will affect your inner game, it's all positive here: http://asj.sagepub.com/content/47/2/115.abstract

Here's a quote from that study: "These findings indicate that having multiple social roles increases individual well-being..."

It isn't enough that you have one persona in the pick up arts. You should have many.

I second that Hellhound. Vibe is the pinnacle of game!

From what you listed, I find myself to incorporate everything into one.

I make my presence known but I don't go over the top. I talk to everyone but individually and quietly. Use a lot of vague statements but always tease. Either way, just kick back.

I agree with Role Theory. It goes back to Plato saying that rhetoric can only be an art if we account that each human is a different soul and different rhetoric should be used for each soul. Finding what the soul needs, then you will know what kind of rhetoric to use. (Although I despise Plato, that's the only meaningful thing he has said.

If you incorporate NLP into that, and apply Representational Systems to that, it seems like using an eclectic persona would work best if you can't switch your roles.

As alluded to earlier, a certain degree of modulation in persona is necessary in different circumstances with different types of women. However, these modifications are minor with my general persona being common. I tend to be the suave, stylish and slightly mysterious gentleman. No suprise that James Bond is a character who I had imitated during my formative pick ups.

If you mean by pickup persona an alter ego then you're doing it wrong.
Just be yourself, but be your best self. In my opinion Hellhound explained it in great detail. Just make sure that people are pleased to have you around.

You should absolutely be yourself 24/7, but you also have to adapt and play some types differently.

Gaming shy girls is an entirely different play. In a way it is almost AFC. With regular girls i'll flirt with others, let them know I go to strip clubs, stir jealousy plot-lines, silently make it known I am a player (or hot property) etc.

With attracted shy girls they get spooked easily if they see you playing other girls. Player vibes are much less help. They get turned off and aren't as receptive on sexual jokes, are more of a challenge to escalate physically, need more in the return/validation of mutual feelings, and are less likely to chase once they are attracted (even though they want to) etc.

My personality never wavers a sliver, but I approach and use a different game-plan for separate lady types. Call it adjusting an image when necessary.

I'm not sure if it's just me interpreting it wrong here Hellhound (well, not wrong, because it works for me, but maybe not how it was intended to be interpreted), but I use that more for vibe rather than persona. So changing whether I'm more upbeat, more high energy, or more quiet etc, rather than changing, say whether I'm doing a one-liner comedian persona, or a sarcastic come back routine, or a goofy slapstick persona etc.

Personally, I don't think you should have a persona. You should have your own personality. You can adapt it ever so slightly to incorporate things you learn here, but the basic model you should be building upon should be your own personality. Not only will it be harder to make up a persona, it will also come across as fake.
