There's something going around the twitter verse called "thirst." Its a term used to ridicule a person that wants another person entirely too badly. Now you might say whats wrong with that isn't that what love is, wanting each other "desperately"? However, you should not be in love with someone as soon as you see them. I once talked to a HB about this. She said she would go out with guys and they would already be in love with her, and that was weird. They were trying to hard too soon and pushing her away fast. Why do guys put the pussy on the pedestal? Many reasons, but some that stand out are 1.) They are horny. 2.) They are unhappy 3.) Pride. If you project your sex drive unto a girl you will want her to bad. If you project your pride and need to be respected by other men unto a girl you will want her to badly. If you seek a girl to make your life happy you will want her to badly. The whole thing is when you want someone to badly you force it and get frustrated, and its uncomfortable for the girl. The other thing about putting the pussy on a pedestal is that it makes you look like you have no value. It makes you seem valueless. Its nice and all, but the girl starts to see her self as more valuable than you. So I always harp on value yourself. Value yourself. Value yourself, almost like a mantra. Image is everything sometimes. You don't want the girl to be a princess and you to be her pawn, but that's how it looks when you kiss ass! So don't put the pussy on a pedestal. Value yourself and think about the image you are projecting. Have some self-discipline and don't project your desires onto people. Value yourself, if you come across as a King she's going to want you. |

Fucking hell, you should make a whole section devoted to these topics, i mean it ! This is very important and a crucial stage in your inner self development, yes i know, it sounds like some new age shit but its crucial. Unfortunately due to a dry spell lately, and some boredom, i have slipped into this attitude and it has resulted in rejections, even in cases were there really shouldn't be rejections. I noticed that in life i do very well with women, once i have removed this mindset. These insecurities seep through and are noticeable by people who happen to be more receptive than you would think, even if they don't realise it themselves. |

Criticism (presumably directed at me) accepted. As for the OP's comment that he's not doing anything wrong, well I'll try and unpack a little why I don't think that's the case. Everyone who posts on this forum should surely be doing so in good faith. That means we're here to learn from each other and that if people make criticisms we should be open to them. Hopefully I've demonstrated that above. In another thread, I showed an example where Invictus/AudacityofRepetition/whatever directly contradicted himself. I wasn't hostile towards him. I didn't even comment on it. I just posted the two contradictory statements. This was something that anyone who was acting in good faith would have taken on board. Instead he did the online equivalent of spitting in my face. This is not a guy who's here to learn. A person who has shown repeatedly that they refuse to listen to other people's advice is in turn not worth listening to. How many other pieces of good advice have they ignored and how can they possibly be taking their life in a good direction while living this way? Therefore I would contend that people like Invictus/Audacity are actively trying to lead others astray and deserve to have their shit, as the saying goes, shut down. |
