I am noticing a lot of guys in the community calling other guys who don't know anything about Pick Up AFC. Well, you still are a AFC if you: 1. If you just read the material, but you can't even bring yourself to say "Hi" to a girl. Even if the other guy is a AFC but he can open, he has more game then you. 2. See the other guy talking to the girl your after as competition and asking for help. This still implies the other guy has more game then you. In this case, AFC is scared, while a PUA is not even breaking a sweat and knows how to handle the situation properly. Lets face it, if you want HB 8 and higher, you are gonna have to compete with other guys there talking to. 3. Sit at home playing video games or watching TV all day, then goes out and tries to be a PUA by night. Lets face it, the thing that will make you stand out from the competition is a solid identity. If you all thing being equal, but one guy plays video games all day for fun, while the other guy enjoys rocking out with his rock band, guess who the girl is gonna go for? So start taking up an identity that attracts girl. But be warn, it can't be something your taking up for girls. It has to be something your passionate about because all of those identities will require a lot of your time, so you have to find it fun. |

I'll disagree with 2 and 3. For 2, there's nothing wrong with asking for help. It's a matter of learning for next time. People are going to be weak in some areas, and they can either continue to be weak or strengthen their weakness through inquiry and observation to prepare for next time. For 3, what if a guy's identity is sitting all day watching TV and/or playing video games all day because he enjoys those activities? Doesn't matter if he does those activities if he doesn't associate the negative stereotypes associated with those activities. As a matter of fact, some of the so-called PUAs I've heard about played/still play some of the most geeky activities such as Magic the Gathering, Pokemon Master, and read Lord of the Rings. A big so-what for me. Also, just in general, I say comparing yourself to other people and ranking people based on AFC/PUA status is a bad idea. PUA is hard enough as it is, just spend your limited energy on the only thing you can control and that's yourself. |

Add this to the list. If you make threads about ONE girl, you're an AFC. If you're giving advice even though your game is shit, you're an AFC. |
