Are you built like an iron tank mentally? Do you let little things get to you? Do you maintain your mental frame through your challenges?

You need to build yourself strong mentally. This will help you to deflect not only bitch shields and shit tests, but also the daily challenges of life itself.

With a strong mental frame, you can handle anything that's thrown at you, like it's literally nothing. It will roll off your back like it wasn't even there. People around you will notice this also, including girls.

You need to work toward having an impenetrable mental frame. It's something you will never achieve, which is a GOOD thing, but it's also something you DO need to strive for. Because you will never completely achieve that, that automatically leaves you open to still be human.

Great advice Tripp.

One technique is to envision a forty foot version of yourself doing the things you do normally. Basically, see him going back in time and confronting the challenges you stumbled on. See him bash through them like nothing because hey, he's forty feet tall. Then look into your future and see him doing the same thing with obstacles that may come your way. Then, envision the forty foot tall you dropping back into yourself, so that you know that you have what it takes to do all of those things that the forty foot tall man did. This is slightly modified from Ross Jeffries, I take no credit for it.

Anyone know of some other techniques for building a strong mental frame?

Martial arts have helped me a lot with that kind of stuff. If you are a disciplined musician you should feel similar about that mental state. Once one is disciplined enough, one can apply that discipline anywhere in small amounts.
For example, being distracted when talking to very hot girls is commonly a problem with new PUAs, but if the PUA in question can begin to control his breathing, movements, and other nearly autonomous functions, then they are closer to having a clear enough mind to game effectively with.

This is why I mentioned physical activities like martial arts. Discipline in playing your favorite video game won't help you control yourself (and behave the way you want to) when you are being tested by some HB.

Post subject:  Frame Control / Severe Oneitis

I just wanted to repost Tripp's statement on frame control because I believe its the most important aspect of this game. With a strong frame of mind, it almost doesn't matter what openers or routines you use. You can almost will shit to happen.

I've been dealing with some painful oneitis for several months now. I won't go in depth here but I can only say it's like how Style describes his relationship with Lisa in the Game. In the meantime I f' other women, go out sarging, do everything I'm supposed to do. What I don't do is answer every day she calls me. She employs the push-pull with me - where I see her, make out, then she pushes me away. She basically exerted her frame over mine for a long time. So I put a stop to it, barely acknowledged her for the holidays, then she called me over all upset that i didn't see her all month. So I stopped by late and gave her no kino, negative body language, the works. She tried talking about her other guy friends and I just said - "that's awesome, you should hang with them more." Long story short, we f'd closed on the couch. Of course next time I saw her, she played me off so i acted cool. It's a constant battle with her because she too has a strong frame, she's read the Game and is up on this pua stuff too. But freezing her out still worked and by not giving in, by pushing her off when she wanted to make out, etc. etc., it paid dividends in the end. So for you oneitis sufferers out there, I know it's hard, but the best advice is to keep a strong frame of mind, walk away, and they do come back.

Lastly, I suggest everyone read LA Tripp whenever he posts. This guy is Mr. Frame. Underlying all his posts is a very strong frame of mind. Whether he's writing a field report, giving advice, or responding to attacks by other members in the forum - this guy never lets up and that's why he's my man around here. Read his posts and you'll understand.

Thanks Tripp. Been hovering on the boards for awhile so i figured it was time to throw my hat in the ring. Have learned a lot from these and other materials. Only wish i had discovered it sooner - afc tendencies run long and deep. Other than that, just trying to live day by day. What else can us apes really do, right?

Yes, the AFC tendencies do that, unfortunately, lol. Oh well, no better time than now. I figured you had been hovering for a while, since you know about my FR's, lol. Now, they are in the PMZ, in my member journal.

This is deff. some solid advice. I really like the idea of imagining a 40ft version of myself. Going to the gym and achieving goals lifting Etc. has really helped give me confidence.

Another note about frame control. Although your frame should be solid all the time, it should also be a bit fluid too. As in, when you approach a set, obviously you don't want your hardcore frame to be the first thing they encounter. But, that frame is still there. You want them to see a part of your frame, to experience a part of it, and to be sucked into your frame. If you encounter someone else in the set that also has a frame similar to yours, the two of you WILL briefly "fight" it out, but one frame will end up absorbing the other. And, whichever frame "wins" is the one that the rest of the set will follow. So, that's when you determine if YOU are the alpha of that set or if someone else is. Whichever frame "wins" is the actual alpha/leader of that set, regardless of how alpha you think you are otherwise.
