In terms of getting laid. I'm 21 years old and I go out literaly every night.
Getting laid like 1-2 a month. I really thing I shouldn't read material but it feels fucking awesome to try out new stuff.
I kinda fall out in this state where I'm doing the same stuff and it's not working for me( in terms of getting laid) and when I read some new material it just feels so awesome that u try it and it totally works but then in time it still falls into that not working.

On the other hand I sometime come up with some kick-ass lines on my own. Thing is I need to build a lot of momentum to do that and that doesn't happen all the time.

So my question is Reading versus non-reading for guys who go out all the time??

The thing about reading material is that it's stuff from other, it's canned so it's something that might not be in your personal character. But it's not bad to try out new things. Because if the old stuff doesn't work, and you keep doing it over and over again, you will fail over and over again.

I can recommend reading material, but I better recommend going out and approach with the new wisdom you obtained FROM the material.

And don't read too much, or else you will forget what you learnt before.

I dunno, it's kinda like engineering. Engineers study stuff so that they have tools to solve specific problems better, so should you think of stuff you read in PUA books. It's just a tool for a situation that might be right to use it in.

As to when to use them, that just takes practice and it highly depends on your own personality. I think you're doing the best thing you can, continuing to go out. It all gets sorted out eventually with experience.

With almost any skill there is a balance between taking in information and then practicing using it. It sounds like you're doing just that. You read some then you practice and then you repeat. The one thing with communication is you need to test out what works for you as nothing works for everyone. It has to fit your personality and identity.

As long as you are out in the field, its important to learn what your shortcomings are. Sometimes books and forums make it more clear, especially if you are going through something similar. If you also find a method that suits your character, you should be improving much faster. It's fun trying new things but you may need to stick to something long enough to understand it and yourself then try something else to see what aligns better with you.

I think warped mindless made a thread on how to improve fast. You should look around. At this point, I think almost all questions and situations have been covered and it's more about how to incorporate that information into your game. Just make sure you make that process fun because being a pua shouldn't be a chore. It should be something you look forward to after all the work and headaches from life.

You should do both the reading and the practicing. Pratising without reading is something like discover a new continent without a map. You can get lost. And most of time you will waste more time to reach the goal. With reading, you have some maps. But these ones are from different people with some distinctions. You can follow these maps and find out which one is the best for you.
