Just had my close friends turn around and tell the chick I had been talking to for awhile that I liked her and she said she had no idea who I was. Not like it mattered because apparently she had a bf as of yesterday, so from now on this highschoolers is going to go full PUA and get every girl I can. Wish me luck |

Just for clarification, are you saying you ASKED your friends to tell this girl you are interested in her? If so, please don't do that again. Ask her yourself. I promise, 99.9% of all girls try to be nice as hell if they want to reject you. They'll let you down in the nicest way possible and respect you for having the balls to actually say something to her. Everyone seems to think that rejection involves some huge thing where the girl gets to mock you for all eternity and that's just not the way it works. The crazy thing is that even if you do get rejected this way, your confidence will still increase just by knowing you had the balls to act on what you wanted. |

High school sucks, just gonna throw that out there. Fact: if you don't have the perceived status of being an athlete or being rich, you're done for. My advice is you study, work hard, and focus on getting into the college you want to attend after graduating. High school is hell, college is a step below heaven (no school is heaven, its nice to have money). |

I just got my GED recently, but I spent all of my years in highschool. It sucks, but highschool is a target rich environment, and a great place to get your feet wet when it comes to chasing pussy. I would focus on your studies and grades though. I had a lot going on in my life (still do) and couldn't focus/manage my time properly, sooo learn from my mistakes. Also, make a couple really close friends, but make as many fluff-talking acquaintances as possible. TRUST ME, this will come in handy. There are so many different cliques and different girls end up becoming close with different male individuals. Also, always remember to keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer. As long as somebody isn't fucking with you, or giving your Life any other kind of shit, it's OK to just listen and actually pretend like you give a fuck about what they're saying to win their "friend vote". In fact, that's what most people to others when they converse with them anyway! Haha. Once again, you never know where your connections with a certain guy friend will lead you when it comes to getting good with attracting women in highschool. So just take notice and be aware of what's going on around you, then strike like a jaguar in the shadows when you see fit. Keep us updated on your success, bro. Good luck, and if you have any more questions, ask away! \m/ -Shredder |

To ask her yourself. Even if yo had attracted her over time on your own, unless she's coming at you dripping wet and salivating, YOU'RE the one that has to end the ambivalence between the two of you. Give it try sometime. If your game is tight, you'll see that women are usually pretty damn eager to respond. |

I don't get where this idea of "highschool sucks" comes from.Fact: if you don't have the perceived status of being an athlete or being rich, you're done for. My advice is you study, work hard, and focus on getting into the college you want to attend after graduating. High school is hell, college is a step below heaven (no school is heaven, its nice to have money). I realize college/Uni are pretty awesome and I love being at Uni but high school was pretty damn awesome for me. It's a great place to get your feet wet. Great place to start PUA or other ventures one may have. The beauty thing about it all is any failures are forgotten as soon as you finish high school. Make the best of your high school experience and use it as a stepping stone to be a better man in post-secondary. |

Status becomes more important as you age, not less. The only even playing ground is perhaps at a night club when everybody's blitzed and nobody gives an F about a 2nd meeting. Think of all the real friends in your life now. Do you know many who are of vastly different socio-economic-cultural backgrounds? You can complain about the way things are or you can lobby for change but the only realistic thing to do is to work with it to your advantage. Kids might be immature, vamped up on hormones, and lack some social awareness but overall, high school isn't too different from anything else. People who complain in high school will complain at 50 years old. People who succeed in high school often succeed later in life. People who are socially aware in high school remain socially aware their entire lives. There's a reason why high schoolers often tell their friends that they like a girl. This is the only path he knows to exercise his desire for a girl. He doesn't yet know how to communicate with a girl nor does he have the confidence to even wing it. So he leeches his energy, telling all his friends hoping that the word will get around to her and hoping once again that she might reciprocate these feelings back through her friends so that he receives GREEN LIGHT to hopefully ask her out. . ."Will you go out with me? I know you like me . . . your friends told me so . . ." ^How did this strategy work out for you? Interestingly, ^this is a time tested method for gaining girlfriends for high schoolers all over the World. But it only works when the the messengers of the phone-tag game lobby heavily enough for a match to work. It works if the match preserves social order and works even better when it fortifies individual positions. Yes, girls at this age suck cock just so her friends can feel happy about themselves. So if you're ready to set yourself apart from this cesspool of dimwitted dinks: 1. Stop sharing your feelings about girls to others. Sure, you can tell guys that you find some girl to be hot but anything beyond that is chatter best left for chicks in hair salons. Keep these feelings sacred. These are your emotions. You want to channel these emotions towards getting the girl, not fueling junior high school gossip. 2. Stop your habit for complaining. Instead, channel your energy towards better strategy. Your flowchart is as follows: 1. Bad strategy. 2. Disappointment. 3. Complain. Replace 3 with "re-strategize" so that when you go back to number one, you will have a high chance of finding "good strategy". 3. Read up on strategies on this forum. Start a journal. |

Start playing sports, joining clubs, gaming girls, talking to everyone at school. Smile at people as you walk by, say hi to the teachers, show confidence. It'll only translate to life beyond high school. Once people see that you're the guy who's "chill" than they will judge you far less harshly. |

What defines success in high school? Is it getting the highest grades, getting the most women, earning first chair in your school's band as the tambourine player? Bill Gates got picked on in high school and had no friends. Stephen King failed English class. Michael Jordan was cut from the high school basketball team. They seemed to have had an immaculate transformation. All the perceived losers and nerds in my high school are now doing pretty well with their lives. All the hot girls back then are now fat and ugly, or have 6 kids and an abusive husband. A lot of of the previously ugly girls developed into absolute beauties. I can't think of a single jock in my high school that is doing anything remotely useful with his life. They have shitty jobs and limited levels of education. They still get the women; but guess what? They're low quality women at best. I know it sounds like a fairy tale with a happy ending, but honestly, the way people turn out is poetic justice and one of the few things in life where karma actually exists. Maybe my high school class was unique, but I don't think so. I agree that high school shouldn't be ignored and shouldn't be viewed as something you're just "passing through". However, it's also important to realize that in a worst case scenario, things DEFINITELY improve after high school if that's what you want. |
