I think if you're getting into those situations, that you're probably miscalibrated a lot and being way too cocky. You need to be less confrontational and from your "AMOG destroyer", I can tell that you are definitely confrontational. A PUA shouldn't have to face a threat head on, because he has superior skill and can sidestep and dodge insults and threats, while disarming the opponents. PUA is like a martial art. It's much more effective and efficient to draw someone in close and then throw them across the room than it is to actually have to trade blows. It is more effective and efficient to deflect attacks than it is to waste effort in blocking them, because with a block you have to overpower, with a deflection, you use their strength against them. Use less confrontational words and be nicer. People will let you in closer and help you more readily, so you increase your social proof, as well as making friends instead of enemies. If someone is an opponent, then use your position to your advantage and make them look foolish for being aggressive, but don't insult them. Your destroyer was good for the first part, you made them look foolish, but you did it in an insulting way and so they would become more aggressive and maybe even clock you in the face. |

Thanks for the input Rye Lee. You hit the nail on the head. I have never had problems with being C&F, but I have definitely been accused of being too cocky. |

How about saying something like "No thanks, all the women are in here."? Or "Why? So I can pay another $8 to get back in? No thanks." I guess these can only be used when the women are, in fact, all inside, and it costs $8 to get in, but maybe they'll help. |

Yeah as said above.. you really shouldn't even be getting this much confrontation. If you are, you are either doing it wrong, or you just got real unlucky and met a serious asshole. If you are unlucky then... First line of defense is to totally let his bad vibe pass right over you, ignore the fact that he is pissed off. Just smile (No cocky!) and act like he is another cool guy you want to talk to. "Hey man! How ya doin? There are so many hawt girls in here, Damn! Did you see that blonde over there by the bar! Holy shit!!.." That will usually defuse or confuse them, which is enough to get out of the situation. But if they persist, actively defuse him. Lower your smile somewhat, (stay happy), and try a little diplomacy first. "Hey, why are you so upset, we are all here having fun here, thats what its all about right? Having a good time? There are plenty of girls to go around, you should go talk to some of them." Note) 1 You directly question his emotional state. 2) you then include him, in the same sentence, with you and everybody else and the opposite emotional state. 3) you ask him to conform to the socially accepted (and more positive) attitude by asking a rhetorical question to which he cannot answer no without isolating himself again. 4) you offer an additional alternative, which is high incentive, for leaving his original frame. 5) you TELL him to take the offer. Say this sincerely, hopefully you have a few girls (and guys) around you anyhow, even take the step to introduce the guy to them. If he accepts and tries to be friendly, he will most likely blow out and have to eject anyhow, cuz he's an asshole with a massively negative vibe, but who knows, maybe he will soften up and start behaving, and you can either end up friends or you can just slip away to other sets while his attention is distracted. If he persists, be direct, I use NLP with great effect especially if they are drunk, and just refuse. "Im not here for this. Find something else." "You really dont want this, you need to do something else." Depending on his emotional state, either walk away, or stand your ground (dont ever turn your back on a guy who has red ears and a blank stare). I prefer to walk away if I can. If the guy is dumb enough to actually go outside and wait for you, by all means let him do that. Regardless, at this point, you go talk to your good friend the bouncer/the bartender. Remember, these are the first people you befriended when you came in, and you came back from time to time to spike up their evening, remember? They have a vested interest to have this punk ejected, and they will gladly do so on your behalf. No this is not weak, and in fact successfully ordering the staff to then toss an asshole will gain you huge points with girls. If he honestly waits around for you outside for the next three or four hours while you are in chatting girls until the club closes...then wow youve met a psychopath. Thats what martial arts and taxi cabs are for. I usually take the cab first, right outside the door of the club, but then, its pretty damn rare you meet people like this. |

here is a situation i have encountered a few years ago i was partying when there was a hardbody hanging out in the smoking area. I made the move and kissed closed, we moved inside to dance but after a few mins the girl (who was a stripper yaaahooo!) was grabbed by another girl and they just started making out right there on the dance floor. Now of couse the whole floor went nuts and there was a group of AMOG's who totally moved in on them and pushed me out with the words "she is done with you". Now im not to crushed as i did full close with her the next day but just as a question amongst fellow professionals how would or should you manage a situation like that where a bunch of AMOGS just move in and push you out when you have done all the hard work? |
