I've been browsing the forum, reading eBooks, etc because I really wanna get good at pick up... The main problem I have is relating some of the stuff being said to my own life... I just turned 18 and I am still in high school. A lot of this stuff seems like it was written for someone older and in the real world. I'd like to meet someone on the forum who is around my age. Or, maybe even get help from someone who knows what they're doing in PUA. I could explain my situation and then you could maybe help. You know how it feels when you are just starting out. Somebody please help. I'd like to get on instant messenger or exchange email addresses. Please response to this thread or PM me. Thanks! |

I feel the same way man, I'm 19... luckily for me I have a leg up on my peers because I'm in a band and I get to experience bars and clubs because of it. However, I feel like my age contributes a lot to my AA. As if it weren't intimidating enough to approach a woman, imagine approaching one thats 6 or 7 years older than you. Regardless, if you're meeting girls in high school, just put the main principles into action and you will be golden. I think in high school you just have to not be a 110% AFC and you're pretty much guaranteed success. |

I'm 18, but in college. I didn't get heavy into pickup, as in I haven't done any sarging girls I haven't met, but I read through the material and something just kinda clicked (2 weeks later i was making out all night with a girl. her roomate was on the other side of the room). What I have basically learned since is mainly two things. 1. The direction to head in. I never really got used to the standard AFC way of getting girls. Pick up material has given me the first impression on how to treat women, what to expect from oneself in success with women, etc. 2. Most important of all two of these: I learned to think before I speak. But not only speak, but act. Everything you do should have some conscious purpose. Well good luck. theguru, the main attraction principles don't change, even as young as high school. Sure, you're right, the material is written for older guys, but the main principles don't change. Feel free to pm me if you need to. |

I am 19. Age is an external factor that does not effect you unless you let it. I know this because I used to think the same way, but I have learned that just like anything else it's all how you think about it. They think that they are so much older and more experienced that they begin to put extra effort into seducing me because I'm so "innocent"(lol if only they knew). If they want to think they are taking my sexual innocence that's fine by me I don't have to live up to shit. I can cum in 1min and she will just think that I'm just young and inexperienced. Then I could make her a deal that if I can make it to 10min next week then she has to buy me dinner. Don't let external factors make up your mind on anything. You are internally valid because you are a man fully focused on his purpose. btw one more thing 2 of my good friends one 16, and one 19 are pickup instructors http://www.vindicarlo.com/trainers.php do you think they let their age effect them? |

Thanks for your post guys... I'm going to keep all the basic strategies and methods in mind, and then come up with my own routine... I already started typing it up. You see, I like like 2 mins from this mall, where there's a good amount of attractive women. I'll post it for review soon... Thanks! PS: I love this community!!
