Simple! what state you like to get into? And how do you do it?

Yo, when ever I get with women or am around them and know that they are attracted to me I am and have been in the same state each time. Whenever i go out, whether it be to a friends house or a party and women are there I don't make my main focus WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN. I go out to have a good, no GREAT time and be comfortable in my own skin doing whatever I want to do. The only way I can do this is before the night or whatever the scenario is, I don't expect ANYTHING. I don't expect to be getting with anyone, i put myself above that. By expecting to hook up your handing the power right over to the women, now you will feel failure and rejection if there not interested. If you go out solely to have a good time (Picking up women as a side effect of course ;)) you will never come across as needy or reliant on the women for attention and they can sense this. All I do to get into this state is expect nothing and go out to have fun. Putting expectations onto things often leaves you disappointed and I have never picked up a woman when I'm in a bad mental state.
All that said that is what works for me take from it what you will hope it helps :) -N

To get in my sociable, out-going pick up state I start to talk to strangers on my way out. Gets me in the mood. Oh and listening to up beat music.

Social state
- Laugh with my buddy's
- drink a beer
- Talk loud!

Dominant state
- do a staredown on a random girl
- tell myself i am pdiddy

Calm dominant state
- mix the above ones
- tell myself i have nothing to prove when talking to a girl
- meditate for a sec in the club to come to myself.

My dominant state gets tons of IOI's but is not succesfull in getting to know new people.
My social state is having fun but on a date it would not get me layd

Talkative, fun, cheeky.

During the day before i would be heading out, i used to talk to random people at the op's you always get, counter at a clothes store ect, i knew i was in for a good night when could get them to do two things, laugh *for real* and ask me a non job question about me, and further maintain conversation with me after the transaction has taken place.

E.g Clothes shop, blah blah blah, (clothes shop) Hey, do you have these pants in an extra large, they would ask why, i said i need alot of extra room in the crotch (she giggled) then i said no, its not like that, im not bragging or anything, i just need the extra room form my wallet. (she laughs, good sign as this is a terrible of the cuff joke at the time)

After a joke i find people girls always ask me, what do i do, then start flirting with me a bit. And like i said, if you finish buy whatever and they are still talking to you, you gain some level of uncouncious social vibe for a good while, very handy in the club.

You get into state by doing w/e you want/intend to do and your brain will naturally adjust to it and you'll access that part of your brain easily.

In essense, your brain literally takes over your concious mind and you just 'DO'.

If you're at work and you go non stop for an hour, you'll switch into work mode.

If you're writing a book, poetry, script, most successful writers say that its only after hours and hours that anything good comes.

A famous writer actually once said he's have to write for 8 or so hours uninterrupted before he could write anything good. When it just comes from you, you don't think of what to write, it just is.


Its the same with PU or anything you do in life. Bit of a ramble but ya knowww

I have to say although positivity is a way to get girls. I don't believe it's the SET way to get girls.

You can get girls by being a negative nancy, if that's your personality.

His summary gives us; don't do throw away sets, "rather do what you feel like".

Really?

Strange, that seems to go against what most other PUAs say and coaches and personal experience.

So yeah, either "do what you feel like"* OR follow the advice of nearly everyone else and do some throw away sets/ do something that makes you stop caring what others think of you to get in state.

* I assume that this only works if you feel like approaching girls in which case his chapter on state is largely redundant for you. Reminds me of the classical advice of "Man up". Yup. Helpful!

I assume he was just talking about getting into state. Do whatever you want or do nothing to get into state.

Obviously "do what you want" is a load of total shit for everything else.
