Last time I was on the forum here was in 2011- around 5 months ago- the time before that being about a year or so before then. Why so inactive you may ask? I've been with a girl for almost 2 years now. She is the exact version of congruence for me. Literally perfect for me. Or at least I thought so. I was basically with her every single day of 2011 before the summer. We met at school and fell in "love." Since I graduated, she is in school still. We are about 4 hours away from each other, but our homes are pretty close. Anyway, last year in september, I was on here because she went on a brutal string of lying, ignoring me, etc. and we had a huge fight one night because she took me for a fool and told me she was going out with her friend and her boyfriend and that she loved me so much and would call me as soon as they're done eating because she loved me so much, but called me when she was drunk and out partying. I just felt like an idiot and like she pissed on our relationship. Anyway I plan on going on a break with her because she has been shutting her phone off or ignoring me every friday and saturday this year. But that is not the real reason, although it got me suspicious. I just found out she hid her friends on facebook a few months ago and re-added a guy she cheated on her ex boyfriend with. I specifically made her delete him because he trash talked me then messaged her on facebook, trying to hook up with her. She made me do the same thing for a girl who forced herself on me once. Seriously though- she has been sneaking to parties, ignoring my calls and texts, then adds a guy she knows never to speak to again, who she has cheated on a boyfriend with in the past. Obviously she spoke to him or added him for a reason. She knows I hate him. Anyway, I tried to confront her, but she was going to the library around 5 hours ago, conveniently shutting her phone off an hour after. Really? I feel sick over this bs. Hope I'm not nuts... |

Glad to know I'm not nuts. I just feel deceived and stupid. Everything has just been way too suspicious lately and I am choosing not to trust instincts.This crap is making me ashamed and depressed. I'll probably be better by friday though lol. |

Yeah, you should break up with her as soon as you can. Mercilessly. You are not nuts. You could've done it earlier, or at least pull out the "I'm not putting up with your bullshit, call me when you are done" and leaving thing. If she calls you and apologizes, great, if not, also great because you know she's a bitch. Realizing when to quit is important - I wish I knew how to do it better myself... Good luck! |

A relationship needs trust. If you don't trust the woman you're with, well I don't know what I'd call it but a real relationship is not an accurate description. I will say one thing to play devil's advocate, though. Ordering your girlfriend to do anything is wrong. The guy talked shit on you, who cares? Forcing her to delete him just made it so that, if you two ever did fight (as you did), she would immediately go to him for comfort before any other guy who may have issues with messing around wtih a girl who's in a relationship. |
