Post subject:  Misinterpret what she says

i was chatting up a girl two days ago and she was telling me a story about some accident she saw earlier in the day.. she goes,

"So after i was Crossing the street.. " i stopped her and said, "wait.. you were Cross-Dressing in the street? you know what.. idk if i like you right now, that's kind of weird"- she laughs and hits me on my arm.. it was on..
so it had me thinking.. i dont do this much, but it was good for the conversation cuz we both had a good laugh.. im gonna start doing this more..

so do you guys remember any instance where you misinterpreted what girls said on purpose? do you guys only misinterpret things to be sexual or to be funny..or both..

I would think that if i said that to any girl they'd think i was a complete idiot but it actually makes sense

Kastle, I think it's a great way to start the teasing and get the laughter going. I do it too if the remark comes naturally and is funny.

I more call it twisting what a girl says than misinterpreting it. Tho I do do it to girls from time to time. It can be quite useful and effective if done right. Most of the time when I do this, its more on the humor side than anything, tho I sometimes make it sexual.

I'm a huge fan and a frequent implementor of misinterpreting what the girl (and sometimes the guy) has to say. It's a powerful tool you have in order to demonstrate your frame into the conversation and people will respect it. Although I must mention there's a big different between POSITIVELY misinterpret as opposed to NEGATIVELY. If you turn it into a positive, playful form, the way you did, you ARE going to see good results.

Matador has great material on this. The whole clip is great but specifically from 3:25. Enjoy!

I do it all the time, both on purpose and because I dont listen enough. :) It is fun and it works.
