| Post subject: | My booklist |
Received a question .. about some inner game books.. i rather post my list here so everyone can take a look.. some of them are clearly defined by pscychology and some are just gardening or history books which contains clear messages and metaphors. Some of them are books and some are movies or audiobooks...i have many great books - here are just my favorites which i come back to most often. You can find the books on amazon.com.. just copy and paste the title into the search bar. there is something here for everyone.... i have no particular sequence , it's just a bunch - the names of the titles implies enough. disclaimer .. this is not a commercial, im not giving medical advice here. thich nhat hanh Art of mindfull living The ultimate dimension The present moment.. http://www.amazon.com/Present-Moment-Re ... 474&sr=1-2 all 3 are great books or audiobooks.. my favorite is the present moment because it's just so soothing..i first ran into '' The present moment'' just stumbling on it by accident... at the time i had a terrible judge for my ex fiance, i listen to thich soothing voice every night when i go to sleep and every morning i just felt more compassionate.. Everything has a purpose and function but negative emotions in general create suffering.. even when you don't feel like it you should create a emotional pause .. love and compassion is never wrong...it's about getting in the moment and realizing that you are such human being deep within... i wish i could be like thich , have a 100 % internal frame of reference and being in touch with things with compassion. if you get thich his stuff .. get the audiobooks because his voice and energy is amazing... the guy is credible because he uses what he teaches... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG3PEoJp ... re=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odWIPhj-ivo Shunryu , the zen mind , beginners mind .. http://www.amazon.com/Zen-Mind-Beginner ... 609&sr=1-1 this is actually old material .. but again get the audiobook, the narrative is such monotone, the voice , the contemplation - it really draws you into the moment. it's not for beginners but i really recommend this one , i have listened to it many times and it never stops inspiring me to be mindfull about what is around us and inside us...this is actually not soothing , it's monotone , a bit boring and very contemplative - but that is it's greater power.. it's japanese zazen... it's not designed to make you feel better - just go back to your beginners mind. I used this one after a failed relationship with a psychologist , it really made me reflect on how i perceive things while not being aware.. it also teached me to stop doing pickup and go back to the source , less can be more... go back to your beginners mind where you are open to learning and creativity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VVXhzCIZYQ Jon kabat zinn .. wherever you go , there you are http://www.amazon.com/Wherever-You-Ther ... 547&sr=1-1 Great book .. again i recommend the audiobook because it's shorter and more powerfull.. this is about applying mindfullness in your life and accepting things how there wherever you are...the advice is simple timeless and constructive. It not about adding ideas but stripping away ideas that cause stress, it's very easy to apply and to understand. I have come back to this book more and more.. the top message i received form this book is that nothing is good or bad - and that being in the moment is more important , trusting yourself and others and just trusting experience , stripping away excuses for not being in the moment. IT's not new-age .. actually it more aimed to practice and psychology. When i listen to this in the afternoon i just lay on my back looking at the sky - often i fall asleep and i wake up peacefully http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VY0nDdq6ok Eckhart tolle , in the presence of a great mystery i didn't like most of his books because it's just buddhism repackaged for the west , it's nothing new and incredibly hyped up. nevertheless he is a good writer and he does speak in a profound way... I like in the presence of a great mystery the most because it's just a more enjoyable read/listen than his other books or audiobooks.. the quality is good to my opinion he speaks the most profound in this audiobook... a very good book to listen to in a sunny afternoon... he even makes alot of jokes. go tolle ! Zen And the Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig http://www.amazon.com/Zen-Art-Motorcycl ... 355&sr=1-1 I never enjoyed a audiobook so much .. it provoked visual imaged before going to sleep. it's narrated in such a creative and playfull way , it just never sound boring and the narrator really tells it with passionate but soothing tone. it's a story about a man who has a mindfull perspective about things when he travels through the country side on his mototcycle. he really drawns you into his world and then your realize how peculair modern day society is and how you behave towards such concept. I used to listen to this book before i went to sleep , i just light a few candles and listen to it - and went to sleep really fast. This is for people who hate the abstract rule implying zen or mindfullness ( minddulness ).. it's just told methaporically in a profound , relaxing and entertaining way..What i got out of this book is that we are always on a journey and we shouldn't forget to notice and appreciate the small things around us , how the most boring things can be fun and productive if you have the right perspective. it made me open minded in a entertaining way. Conversation with god.. Donald neale walsch http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Conversa ... 411&sr=1-2 one day i was in the shower asking myself why my life doesn't work out and why i make mistakes so many times.. suddenly i hear a voice in my head which could be my subconcious or something else .. maybe god .. i don't know.. it told me how i was responsible for my own perspective , what i attract how i act and how there is a difference between conditional and unconditional love.. suddenly i felt inspired and not bad for the point in my life i had gotten to..i questioned myself if there is a god - asking myself alot of spiritual questions... a week later i walked across a spiritual bookstore and saw this book laying there behind the window.. i just walked in the shops and bought it with some other books .. it stunned me how some things written in this book where the same as the voice in my head...Funny how things work out sometimes. Ruling Your World: Ancient Strategies For Modern Life By sakyong mipham http://www.amazon.com/Ruling-Your-World ... =8-2-spell if i can recommend one book about observing you ego and psychology it would be this.. it just packed of straight , honest , egoless, appliable stuff..it sounds methaporically but if you summarize it all and you put it into context you see alot of freud, adler and other psychological stuff combined with mindfullness pushed into 224 pages.. Now i do not really like this book, that means it's a good book because it kills my ego and false realities.. It's so straight on , pure and it makes sense - you will just get your concious zapped and you will laugh at yourself after reading certain pages. Like i said it's not cheesy buddhism.. mipham uses thousand year old writings and put them in a psychological, mindfull , western perspective without sacrificing tradition for objective knowledge.. it's really modern and i think he did a better job than most spiritual teachers... Shambala teachings of rinpoche came here when china invaded the tibet.. most of the monks just tried to get to india without any posessions - traveling through extreme cold, dodging bullets , impassable terrain without much equipment or food and many died.. i picked up this book after having a hard time - i really got fucked up in a relationship and got my values destroyed - this book gave my life back.. it only not gave me my life back but made me know who i really am. those monks/ people have suffered in order to get these teaching to me... i humbly appreciate their efforts... Sakyong mipham is the only spiritual teacher i would like to meet and hang out with in clubs and bars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDSAAlrqAHM GET THIS BOOK AND FULLY PUT 100 % EFFORT IN IT. How to Be an Adult in Relationships: The Five Keys to Mindful Loving http://www.amazon.com/How-Be-Adult-Rela ... 745&sr=8-1 i picked up this book to repair one of my previous relationships...looking back i didn't like the woman anyway and she had too many issues. But it answered some question about what love is and when you are loving with your ego. What is love and what is unconditional love ? the book presents some good questions and clear information, the author is a experienced relationship therapist and inner game instructor - his writings are clear and packed with good stuff... this is the only relationship book i woud read if i wouldn't had a relationship, it focusses on every aspect. i didn't read it alot because i have a hard time reading it, you will shift your frame of reference from the external and interal and this is quitte a exhausting process because it puts your values to the test regarding love , relationships and dating. this morning i picked it out of the bookcase and decided to read it again.. it destroyed my obsession in a few minutes thanks to a few chapters and my own awareness... If you have a relationships , ended relationships , question regarding love or the ego - get this book. If you are a obsessive person , clingy , needy towards attention and love from woman i really recommend this book - it's extremely insightfull... nr 1 relationship book for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJwKLACuYcA Cesar millan .. how to be a pack leader i've had numerous observation about humans , instinct and why we do what we do in different scenarios.. i really have studied the whole subject .. cutting away layer and layer of superficial psychological material and theories only to come at an answer which was reductionistic.. we are mostly just biological machines with the motivation to propagate.. just like richard dawkins implied.. only i missed a whole load of material about this stuff - everything was incomplete and didn't had appliable information... until i ran into cesar millan.. he is a dog psychologist who works with dogs - he focusses on mindfullness , psychology and biology and he has some revolutionary new ideas about things. It again amazed me how we people project our psychology on our dogs and how we are neglecting and not accepting our nature as human being... not being in the moment but almost always in the past or future... Dogs are in the moment they always go on and they always accept themselfs - they give unconditional love no matter what... i observed that dogs are more emotionally healthy and loyal than most humans.. it made me realize how unbalanced/unstable humans are and how much we got in common with other organisms on a psychological and instinctive level.. most guys do not know but i apply alot of his stuff and dog psychology in pickup and human interactions.. lol. it's all about the love and energy .. keep going cesar ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yv99TwwKeXU Will durant .. story of philosophy Are you interested in philosophy or social ethic challenges get this one .. it's about philosphy and philosophers all combined in a small package. I have nothing to add - it's just a comprehensive all in one book..it's something betweeen a biography , Q and A fomrat , FAQ and a educative read. it's well put together - very solid material for anyone who is into philosophy and social dynamics. http://www.amazon.com/Story-Philosophy- ... 688&sr=1-2 Ken wilber Kosmic con-brief history AKA version 2 '' kosmic conciousness'' the guy is just a intellectual machine...what i really like about his system is his intergral method. He looks between psychology , biology and different disciplines and describes the consisten relationship between the all on a intellectual , objective , scientific, creative and artistic level. His system is very appliable - it focusses on quadrants : the me , you , we , them relationships between concepts and ideas. I used his methods to combine and intergrate different studies and disciplines with psychology. Ken wilber is not only a funny and entertaining dude he is just a human supercomputer who comes up with great methods to become sort of a philisophical rennaissance man. I listen to his stuff when i was 18 and i can really say it did influence me alot , the thing i learned is that every discipline , belief , concept or new age idea can be intergrated in psychology , into a whole - i begun to intergrate many things into my unique own system of thinking and psychology. the audiobook is great .. if you can't find it get the (audio)book Kosmic conciousness.. ken lectures in a entertaining and very clear way - i recommend the audiobook. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9k5YZsG_bs Ayn rand.. the fountain head Most people already know it , i didn't complete this book but i did really like it alot. i like the idea how the individual and opinion relates to the society in a whole. Somehow i can really see RSD materials have alot in common with this fictional book, the whole concept of individuality and social conditioning, being on your purpose. The character are very different and have very different personality and way of thinking which is clearly presented throughout the book. The main character just expresses his own individuality and does have a internal frame of reference , people hate him because hse's centered but they also rspect and admire him. what i got out of this... i guess fuck society in a productive way Prisoners of our thoughts By alex pattakos http://www.amazon.com/Prisoners-Our-Tho ... 028&sr=1-1 Great book.. it's about logotherapy which is about purpose and meaning in life, it the opposite of reductionism and somehow it's different - it has it's unique own nature. The writer comes up with powerfull role models , examples just making a powerfull summarized work of victor frankls books while make a entertaining coffee table read. If you really follow this book , read it mindfully - you wil realize that purpose is the motivating forces between life. It's about creating a soul purpose in your life wether it's realistic or spiritual...life without meaning is nothing... there for meaning in life is the driving engine in life. i must admit i have troubles creating meaning in my life... because my perspective changes so much everytime - but i always come back at the same point - what is my life purpose and this book does an excellent job at reflecting at those questions in a mindfull and practical way. it also contains examples of christopher reever and nelson mandela which really touched me deeply in my heart... i thought me so many things.. '' a hero is a ordinary individual who finds strenght to persevere and endure despite of overwhelming obstacles''.. to me it seemed that people who had the most challenges in their life also created the greatest meaning in life.. if you just stick at it and focus at the right things you will find meaning in your life. 2 things in this book really stood out to me.. it defines largely who i am even tho im constantly misunderstood.. 1. '' When catastrophe happens, it's easy to feel sorry for yourself that you can't see anybody around you. But the way out is through your relationships... The way out of that misery or obsession is to focus more on what your little boy needs or what other people around you need. it's very hard to do and you often have to force yourself. But that is the answer to the dilemma of being frozen, at least it's the answer i have found'' - christoper reeves.. i had really bad experiences in life.. suffering from psychological illness.. above all i really got backstabbed and screwed by many people , including family girlfriend and friends... after a really bad relationhsip including death of a baby i really got lost - had no meaning in life and on the way i really got abused by my girlfriend and other people who lashed out to me because they were evil or they just didn't understood me... one day i just decided that i want no one else to go through the same shit for months or years, i started talking to people , giving advice - educating people including myself... and when i ran into this book i read that quote i instantly made sense because my way to create meaning in my life and to forget and trade all those negative feelings for a constructive positive thing was my way out.. i had done it just out of compassion without really realizing it... i think a hero is someone who reaches out to other people while he himself is facing very big challenges .. im not saying im a hero - but it has some profound relevance. 2. The day nelson mandela was released from the prison on robben island ( who was imprisoned for 27 years ! ), Bill clinton , then governor of arkensas was watching the news. As mandela stepped outside the prison , Clinton saw a flush of anger on his face as he look the people watching .. then it dissapeared . Later when Clinton was president of US and mandela was president of south africa the 2 leaders met and clinton told him about the observation durting mandelas release form prison. P Clinton candidly asked him for an explanation of what seemed to occured on that historic day... mandela replied '' yes you are right , when i was in prison the son of a guard started a bible study and i attended .. and that day when i stepped outside the prison and looked at the people observing a flush of anger hit me with the thought that they have robbed me of twenty-seven years .. then the spirit of jezus came to me and said '' nelson while you were in prison you were free, now that you are free don't become their prisoner .. this really struck me and i really admired the guy... how many times do we get imprisoned or do we imprison ourself in our own thoughts by hate or things that happened to us when they were out of our control. Things in life do not happen to us .. they happen with a reason and every moment in a learning moment - you need to find the purpose and meaning. when i realized this alot of hate and victimized disolved. great book - i really recommend it. Maxwell maltz .. psycho cybernetics a plastic surgeon performed surgery on people but after physical changes the people still were unsatisfied..he discover that it all had to do with the self image and how your self image changes everything that comes through your perspective. he started changing the self- images and perspectives of people and suddenly they behaved different towards themselfs and their enviroments - they didn't need plastic surgery anymore. i must admit .. i found it profound and very effective but also very boring and repeative , the exercises take a ton of time but they do work.. What i learned from this book is that everything you think will manifest in your self-image - how your imagination can create new neuro associations... basically you dream your own dreams conciously and plant them in your subconcious.. not really anything fancy about it and it takes a ton of time but it's very very effective. http://www.amazon.com/New-Psycho-Cybern ... 810&sr=1-2 Loneliness: Human Nature and the Need for Social Connection http://www.amazon.com/Loneliness-Human- ... 861&sr=1-1 i felt lonely at times where i was not lonely at all .. where i had alot of people and woman around me. i felt the loneliest at times where i had what i want but it didn't had any meaning... i realized how weird it was.. i've been lonely not having many people in my life and now i have everything and everyone i want and im still lonely.. so i begun to question myself .. what is loneliness .. does it has to do with family and friends or just your perspective ? is it psychological or instinctive.. i stumbled across this book which did explain alot..i like how it's explained and i like the narration about experiences because i can identify with those...loneliness isn't bad or wrong , there is some profound natural biological forces at work here, we are just hardwired this way.. i made alot peace with being solitary - actually most of the time i was alone and in this time i wasn't influenced by external bullshit, i had the opportunity to create alot of revolutionary ideas as a result. Richard dawkins the selfish gene i pciked it up but never read it...one time i was experimenting with mind altering substances and my ego was shut off.. just totally expanded conciousness being in the moments - i realized that everything i did in my life was because of 2 things : 1. survival 2. replication i've actually written a whole manuscript during this experience which i maybe am going to post. but it was a fearfull and hard reductionistic experience - i literally lost all my meaning but my trip had some profund relevance... how we are controlled by genes.. i stopped reading about psychology and decided to intergrate more biology into my theories.. nowadays i only trigger instincts and attraction by hardwired drives, reducing all psychology and game to a basic simple primal level because .. biology and instincts are constistent - psychology is not... along they way i picked up this book and i really like it - i must admit i did not read it all.. first few chapters. Anyway i came up with the theory that the brain us just a sexual ornament designed to reproduce with strict genetic criteria - i will write about it and my experiences when i have time.. great book tho. http://www.amazon.com/Selfish-Gene-Anni ... 648&sr=1-3 Jose Silva's Everyday ESP: Use Your Mental Powers to Succeed in Every Aspect of Your Life by Jose, Jr. Silva http://www.amazon.com/Jose-Silvas-Every ... 716&sr=1-1 Most people do not know that i had alot of paranormal and unexplainable supernatural event taking place in my life ( from a young age).. i realized that i never studied psychology at that age and that i could be wrong or insane.. so i started finding books that were a connecting bridge between the supernatural and psycholoy , i stumbled across a shitload of parapsychology books but his is one that stood out because it's so intuitive and objective without being boring.. it's about ESP and using ESP ( ultra sensitory perception .. something like 6th sense ).. i did like the book and it does work if you are open to it. somehow it has some aspect of ''the secret'' and '' psycho cybernetics '''in it but not as cheesy and commercial. The book does have alot of examples , witness stories , excerises and life advice. Lately im encountering more unexplainable things in my life which cannot be explained with psychology , im kinda turning to parapsychology because it's so interesting and deep. Books like these just open up your mind , even if you don't believe in it it will open your mind which is a valuable trait on its own. if you would ask me.. do you believe in auras, mindreading, telepathy and supernatural events.. i would say yes.. i have really interesting stories which i will tell sometime. Vital Lies, Simple Truths: The Psychology of Self-Deception http://www.amazon.com/Vital-Lies-Simple ... 301&sr=1-1 i did not read the book .. i have listen to a seminar which covered a large part of the book but i need to say i was totally impressed. Daniel goleman gets credit for ''emotional intelligence'' but this book is less well known. it is an amazing book and it shows how much people are lying to themselfs everyday all day.. i have received alot of training.. i know psychologist and psychiatrists and alot of them were lying to themself. The process of self deception covers its tracks so it's extremely hard to unwire everything and it does have alot to do with instinct and genes - survival and sexual behaviour. This is the most complicating and hardest part to get control of.. it's really hard to realize you are lying to yourself... im not saying im a guru because i read this book, just by opening my mind to the possiblity i have see it alot in other people.. i have met people and mentors , spiritual teachers who where totally lying to themself - who totally contradicted themselfs and nobody saw it because it was so deceptive.. Sometimes im talking to people and they are just lying to themselfs.. everyone can see what they are doing wrong but they just can't see it themself...on one occasion i was talking to this woman who was highly intellectual and really was in touch with things but i pointed some things out which she didn't see...and she just attacked me.. i was like '' don't you see it'' .. the more begun the talk about it the more her instincts took over.. it freaked me out lol .. how much in control are we ? ... good book. David D also talks about this in his inner game stuff.. Anthony robbins alot of his stuf doesn't work for me because oganizing and structure are really my weak points BUT i have to say.. i have listened to his stuff and i reall was impressed with who the guy his and what he teaches.. he focusses on NLP to influence yourself in a positive way..i don't think i need to go in depth but he does focus alot on pain/ pleasure factores and motivating forces / drives. It's just simple NLP that does work if you put a effort into it... alot of people think he is a manipulating dude.. i don't agree , his stuff works , he delivers quality and he seems caring and credible ( even tho sometimes he goes ballistic ) live with passionhttp://www.amazon.com/Live-Passion-Stat ... 179&sr=8-1 one of my favorites.. i apply this principles ALOT .. his audiobook is really awesome and i really recommend it. he does delivers new principles and not repackaged old stuff. IF you want a NLP, motivational, self actualisation audiobook .. get this one. i give it a 10 out of 10. Lesson in mastery http://www.amazon.com/Lessons-Mastery-A ... 328&sr=1-1 are just principles from his older programs but more indepth and applied..good program this comes 2nd for me. Personal Power Classic Edition http://www.amazon.com/Personal-Power-Cl ... 442&sr=1-1 one of my first tony robbins audiobooks... i really like it and he his high energy is contagious , but it lacks the depth for over analytical guys like me. still less can be more and it's short and simple program to remind you why you are tring to achieve some goals.. it's also for people who never heard of NLP i think these 3 are his best.. number one is live with passion. Life Strategies: Doing What Works, Doing What Matters http://www.amazon.com/Life-Strategies-D ... 780&sr=1-1 ok i have to admit.. im not a fan of doctor phil but i share with him the same direct confrontational approach when it comes to people and issues ( including myself ). I just went for this book because i stumbled on it , and i was fairly impressed in the way how it confronted me with my issues , goals and desires. It's not al long book or audiobook but it is a worthwile thing to go through. i liked it in general and i even made notes about some stuff ... now lets get this straight im not a doctor phil fan but this program/book does have some value - it has alot of common sense which you sometimes forget when your are unrealistic and emotional.. i got another book as well .. relationship rescue.. and that book fucking sucks.. it only will work if you have a 20 year old marriage which needs change.. terrible book and nothing from it works in pickup and dating or regular relationships .. i read alot of relationship books and most of them are terrible , impractible, unclear and leave you with a awesome sense of guilt, shame and responsibility while you are maybe not even the problem.. david richo books are the only worthy relationship books i required and those alos deal with love , attachement and the ego which is quitte usefull when it comes to dating and pickup. How to Argue & Win Every Time: At Home, At Work, In Court, Everywhere, Everyday by gerry spence http://www.amazon.com/How-Argue-Win-Eve ... 706&sr=1-1 Underrated book , especially the audiobook .. it's short but it makes it point rather quick.. what i really learned from it is that you never get your needs and interests met if you judge or assault people.. you need to cut the shit and convey what you want. Simply using arguments or power doesn't have anything to do with winning.. it's about relating - when someone relates to you and you to them you can come up with ways to solve things . 1. Everyone is capable of making the winning argument. 2. Winning is getting what we want, which also means helping "others" get what they want. 3. Learn that words are a weapon, and can be used hostilely in combat. 4. Know that there is always a "biological advantage" of delivering the TRUTH. 5. Assault is not argument. 6. Use fear as an ally in pubic speaking or in argument. Learn to convert its energy. 7. Let emotions show and don't discourage passion. 8. Don't be blinded by brilliance. 9. Learn to speak with the body. The body sometimes speaks more powerfully than words. 10. Know that the enemy is not the person with whom we are engaged in a failing argument, but the vision within ourselves. these laws are gold and they have everything to do with healthy boundaries..again i like the clear and simple narration , i picked alot of stuff from this book. your erroneous zones and How to be a no limit person http://www.amazon.com/Your-Erroneous-Zo ... 191&sr=1-1 2 books from dwayne dyer .. i got them like 7 months ago and what set him apart from others is the fact he he communicate with assertive boundaries , his way of teaching implies clear boundaries to get what you want...you don't have to be this guy that people use as a doormat , you don't have to say yes and it's ok to say no when you need to. he's just honest, straighforward and very assertive about things - it's just clear that he's a quick assertive thinker - a guy who thinks on his feet , not many people have that quality. Spirit plant medicine by eliot cowan http://www.amazon.com/Plant-Spirit-Medi ... 649&sr=1-1 first of all im very interested in gardening , plants , nature , shamanism and most new age stuff... i was just looking for a book on shamanism and plant healing traditions to expand my ability and knowledge about it, i was already doing this kind of stuff and was already healing people with such methods. so i typed this on the internet and found this book.. it's very profound and it goes much deep than just healing with plants... it's about being in harmony with nature , how we perceive things and damage things nowadays , it makes you concious of your behaviour and simple illustrated flaws of western society. But it isn't a judgemental book and it does open your mind.. it's wonderfully written - it somehow a psychological book which uses plants as a concept and methaphor - how plants live in harmony with their eviroments and how we humans are not and how we supress out nature. It's not just a new age book or just a book about plants .. it combines a load of things including psychology. i've always been attracted to nature and plants, and i've always felt a deep compassion towards plants and their uses - im very in touch with nature and this book really reinforced that positive aspect. I have it in front of me right now and it has this energy, when i open it i just feel at peace . It's a very entertaining read and i alwasy feel very mindfull when i read it. as for the healing with plants .. my myself have seen incredible changes by using herbal remedies or healing with plant spirits in combination with psychology. you should see for yourself.... what i have learned from this book is to be in harmony in nature and to accept things as they are - to feel compassion for the things around us and to be aware of it - plants are so much more than just lumps of greenery... a mind opener. most people find it weird that how im this overly analytical objective guy with a psychological background who totally interest in things like nature, plants and traditional healing - but im proud of it, i like this path very much. the secret life of plants http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Life-Plant ... 472&sr=1-1 This book just made me aware of that there is so much more than we perceive.. this book really stunned me because it really does contains scientific evidence that plants contain conciousness and telepathic abilities.. i don't feel the need to really go into this very deeply .. they basically just for fun connected plants to lie detector test and they really received electric signals when something happen in the enviroment or when people talked against the plants ...but it goes very deep... haha it blows your mind.. it's just fun to read about something else than pickup and psychology. Alexander the Great's Art of Strategy: The Timeless Leadership Lessons of History's Greatest Empire Builder By partha bose http://www.amazon.com/Alexander-Greats- ... 816&sr=1-1 When i was 14 or 15 years old i got really obsessed with strategy ,history and martial arts .. i start picking up books and read about all kind of leaders who existed throughout history. Some really attracted me in general especailly alexander the great - the man was just a genuis. Patha bose analyzes some tactics and strategies he used , he also look at psychology and long term thinking concepts. I got alot out of this book , but again what do you expect if you are going to read about the most brilliant military minds of all time.. what i got out of this book is asking myself good questions and doing what works... in life you can make mistakes .. in battle you cannot. In life you can just do something.. before a battle you need to prepare things. Preparation is the key to succes, period - if you plan and organize you will be twice as efficient. i also learned that doing nothing is a tactic AS long you are doing it conciously as a tactic....Life and battle have 2 things in common you will never know what will happen and nothing goes like you had planned - preparation is the key. Also people just do to many things that are ineffective , they think they need to do stuff on the level they think is appropriate , while in reality they just lack proper planning and self observation. Fighting Techniques of the Ancient World (3000 B.C. to 500 A.D.): Equipment, Combat Skills, and Tactics http://www.amazon.com/Fighting-Techniqu ... 302&sr=1-1 Book about how ancient armies operated and which battle tactics they used...what i got out of this book is that you can solve any problem.. any situation is different but again every answer is also different... this book opened up my mind about thinking and observing - how to use strategy and what sequence of event you need in order to do such thing. Reason im into alot of military stuff , tactics and strategy is because it basically managing , leading , planning , organizing , being creative, improvising... you need to learn how to analyze and see things as they are , you need to get some perspective about what is possible or not. What mistakes did they make in history ? Like napoleon said '' obtain the strike of the eye '' .. the skill to immediatly asses things and act on the solution. Again this isn't really a book you should pick up if you aren't interested in what i have said. i think books about managing and business are plain boring so i rather pickup books about military history and leadership. Unleash the Warrior Within: Develop the Focus, Discipline, Confidence, and Courage You Need to Achieve Unlimited Goals Richard "Mack" Machowicz http://www.amazon.com/Unleash-Warrior-W ... 291&sr=1-1 now this book doesn't have anything to do with psychology and analyzing stuff... it's simply about recognizing fear and acting no matter what is happening to you. Could be you have severe anxiety and you need proper in depth material , but it would never hurt to pickup this book because it's practicle and it really works. it's about a guy who couldn't do anything that worked himself up the the highest ranking classes in the NAVY SEALS...the guy has profound messages and he describes some of his experiences and how he dealt with those things... moving through fear is simply a descision that can take a spit second and that split second can change your whole life... what i got out of this book is the idea about how stupid fear is and how it never works - it's completely healthy and that you shouldn't act your judge on fear... just make the same descision when like you don't have any fear at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfg1eFZsZl0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXemsbOi ... re=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLInQaV2vc4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzKPjvd6 ... re=related Mount of monte cristo by dumas - translation by robin buss http://www.amazon.com/Count-Cristo-Peng ... 358&sr=8-1 Great book .. a orginal which many people have seen or read.. it's a storyline about some romantic stuff with flashy plots and conspiracies... What i got out of this book ? Well just follow the main character dantes , he starts out like a total chode , gots backstabbed , loses everything he has and get imprisoned for false reasons.. but in prison he changes and grows into a real man who is capable of dealing with most things.. he changes from a guy with no boundaries and no game into someone who is very capable of dealing with life and people. There is really alot of wisdom in this book but sometimes you have to look for it - sometimes you really have think about what you have read in order to understand it... it's a universal story everyones going through.. treason, love , revenge , sadness , loneliness, injustice.. this book just describes alot of human events and emotions and the plot is great - sometimes i was in awe about what was going to happen. Get the movie as well... David Deangelo uses this book as a example in his '' deep inner game '' program which is discussed with psychiatrist Dr. Paul in a seminar about boundaries and ethics and values... ( i discuss this later ) tomorrow i will expand my list lol.. |

Wow. That is some list. I'll definitely be taking something from it next time I need a new book. Currently I'm reading Eckhart Tolle's The Power Of Now, and to be honest, I'm about half way through and I've become bored with the same few points being driven into my skull in a variety of ways that aren't that different. It's a book I'm probably going to come back to at a later date, because I still think it has some great ideas. Your views on him, along with Zac L's, make me want to look elsewhere though. I also have David Deida's The Way Of The Superior Man, which so far has been a great read. It's very well written, in nice small packets of information that give you a lot to think about. It has the same line of thought as David D's lecture, On Being A Man. Sitting on my shelf is Robert Greene's The 48 Laws Of Power. Adam Taste and a few others on chat mentioned this book, and it seems like a damn good read. It's amoral and manipulative, but I think it's going to be enjoyable to read from an objective standpoint and see where it fits into my own personal philosophy. |

Of course you can buy books .. or get them '' somewhere '' else.. you might want to try multiple sources. ''Mystery Method.. by mystery AKA erik markovich'' I started picking up woman because i never really had contact with woman , i was getting older and i seen other guys doing and i never realized i had any of that stuff because of the way i grew up. So i started my pickup journey, not really knowing what i was doing learning from trail and error... but still im glad i did this before i ran into this book because it made me somewhat ''natural'' , having my own perspective on game before i ran into any pickup material... I bought this book after a brutal rejection.. and i was stunned to find out that there was a whole simplified system based on evolutionary psychology and social dynamics.. again it's not really a book that will change your life - it's full of techniques on how to change your enviroment, it's kind of manipulation if you think about it...the essence is '' here have some techniques and don't fix the real issue : you ''. I have used the MM method and i need to say that it did work.. i had ridicilious high consistency and i pulled ass anywhere anytime.. and hey if you are a person that has issues or that isn't good with woman you can try this stuff out... what it did for me is getting me on my path and searching for other PUA materials including inner game stuff... if you just believe in yourself and you will just try over and over you will get good at something.. the thought of having these tricks and techniques made me more confident but in reality i could have just trusted myself instead of doing all these techniques. Pro: Easy to learn , apply and to internalize , efficient and it does work.. before this i never used canned stuff... it had a blast trying these techniques out. con : IT doesn't change who you really are and it doesn't fix your isses , it only handle seduction aspects - it will not improve your inner game and it does not make you a better person - could be it makes you even more manipulative..it does not teach you how to be in relationships... when i started getting into pickup there wasn't really much material around, however nowadays this products is actually the worst material you can get.. In the end the whole mystery thing is a commercialized product that does not have the same high end quality as any other product out there.. why would you trust someone who has financial interest in you anyway ? http://www.amazon.com/Mystery-Method-Be ... 020&sr=8-1 RSD Products Most of their products are expensive and quitte hard to obstain because they don't offer their products on sites like amazon.com... excepts jeffys book which i haven't read yet. They are more focused on taking clients in the field - mentoring clients. All thier products have value.. they excellent or they are ok .. i have never found a bad product from RSD.. ''RSD blueprint decoded , by owen cook AKA tyler durden '' one of the first RSD products i used to study...this product is focused on social conditioning and other external dynamics which influences interactions. Everything is related to social conditioning, this is called a inner game product but i do not agree. It does not go totally in depth like david deanglo stuff - to me it's more of a bridge between inner game and external game... but it's ok - it's a very good product and easy to understand.. it's not boring or dull - it's actually funny material to work through... like a game and that is how life should be seen- like a fun game. one way to describe the goal or effect is to unwire all these things you have learned through social conditioning - it's about finding out that you were believing in this false realities constructed by deductive learning from society...however pickup is used as a frame of reference which is kind of special if you think about it. it's about 20 hours of material.. i followed this program about 40 times, everytime trying to find new relationships between these principles and other ones. The fun thing is that these principles are not hard to understand - they are easy - you can immediatly apply them into your life or maybe relate them to other principles you have learned , it can be a huge eye opener.... What i learned from this ? well all 20 hours were relevant to me.. i learned how social conditioning affected me and how i should find my own beliefs instead of assuming deductive learning - it made me turn myself inwards to more inductive learning and this is quitte relevent because PUA business is actually a commercial system full of crap. I did have alot of anger and showed alot of individuality when i took these princples to heart - placing puzzle pieces in my history and memory... but after while i got over it and really saw that the world is a light place.. this program did gave me back my awareness and with it my life.. it's a good program for guys who want to get into inner game and who want some neutral principles to work with - highly recommend...even if you don't want to apply these principles in pickup you still will get something out of it.. i guarantee... i started pickup without any reference .. just going out solo not really knowing what i was doing but still having some succes.. after a brutal rejection ( lol ) i picked up MM method and tried all that stuff sarging solo.. this started my pickup journey and got me on my way , but once i got into the blueprint program i really started improving myself, obtaining my own individuality and core essence...point im making is that this program is especially for people who did external gaming but now want to go inwards from the external perspective. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghyUmNt5Yd0 The jeffy show Very fun program .. i laughed my ass off when i studied it.. it's just fun and you will get something out of it. For some reason i totally understand this guy and somehow we do share the same sense of humor...maybe it's because he was a total asshole when he got into pickup just like me and he grew into someone more mature. The guy is credible, honest, fun and consistent.. his idea works for game in general including inner game stuff.. what i got out of this is that inner game is the most valueable thing you can have in your life and it is of limitless value.. jeffy just gone from external game to inner game and natural stuff just like most people do, i also learned that you don't have to be honest to yourself all the times in a hard way - you can cut the crap in a fun and humorous fashion. I was just glad i found a guy who had the same ideas like me and who had the same kind of history and way of thinking... his story about how game screwed him up, he got GF after GF getting more emptier everytime he got attached to something external.. i can totally relate to it, somtimes you don't need information , sometimes you just need a guy to tell his experiences so you can relate to it on a emotional. level - most programs don't do that kind of stuff I made a huge click when he talked about game and wrong external influences...it made me realize how fucked up a night enviroments actually is and how arrogant i was - how it influences you in a negative way and how it changes you who you really are, if you don't have the inner game to back yourself up...actually after i followed this program i stopped gaming and tried to search for anwers...his principles are the only principles that made me game again but also stopped gaming when i need to. it's just fun, if you never saw his program go get it or get his book..i was just glad to find someone who isn't full of crap and who relates to me without all that analyzing. attitude and state... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-gI23jU ... re=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLuuKlSs908 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Onh5iw1sBoI ''Flawless natural by tim '' i have to say... it's so fucking simple.. i used this shit and had MAD succes.. it's purely about the basics and getting into state , the mood or mental state where you are out of your mind and where everything flows without thinking about it... it's the point when you are zen and totally into the moment. Well ... it's just the rosetta stone of pickup , his principles are dead simple and it's not about techniques or that kind of shit.. it's about taking a risk, creating your own experiencing, getting into state and leanring to have fun without any tricks, tactics or techniques. When i got into his program i didn't believe it.. i was like '' jezus this is too simple and it sounds ridicilious'' .. but i decided to try it out... that whole night i just approached woman - giving them compliments and dancing around them lol , most guys would have said that all that shit wouldn't work.. but i realized that it does work.. because it doesn't matter what you say or how you do it - it all depends on the place where you are coming from.. if you are having fun then people will notice you are having fun.. This is the only program that really stopped gaming .. when i tried this stuff out i didn't care about picking up chicks , it made me enjoy being in state and doing things for me.. soon after i begun picking up dancing lessons, changing the way i dress and all that stuff - but not for the woman, just for me. This program learned me to have fun with game or without game - just by using barebone non-analytical principles and it was a blast. it's actually ironic that even tho i knew all the tricks , techniques and tactics - i had much more fun and succes when i didn't use all that stuff and just enjoyed everything...same as the buddhist principle of letting go , i can relate to that. I never found one program that is so '' natural '' as this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtQG7fqX ... re=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tojAbcli ... re=related RSD foundations Actually this is just a simple version of getting simple dynamics of game and inner game.. it's just for people who need the foundation like the name implies. However i did come back to this program alot even when i figured everything out already - because for some reason this program motivates me to remember me what im doing and why im doing it. Maybe because remembering the basics will give most power and consistency in life and that's why im drawn to it... I would say this program is spot on about how interacting with woman is like.. woman are not going out to reject guys , they want to have fun just like you - woman and men do have similar desires but woman just communicate them in a different way. When i first listened to this program i start seeing interacting with woman on a while different level, i go out not to just pickup woman or to listen to music - i would go out to create fun experiences for woman and myself... not really attached to any result or vagina...i think that's what inner game is about -solving issues, learning to know yourself, seeing and appreciating you and your surroundings for what they are. if you haven't read much material about game or you haven't sarged much... or it could be you are just someone who doesn't want to pickup woman but you are still interest then this is the program for you. I just like the way owen cook communicates in his programs, he communicates fun and lighty and not with his ego. RSD transformations Most of their products update over time.. there are many transformation conferences but they are all similar in structure... their lead coaches give short seminars about the essence of certain aspects of game, inner game or other things in life. most of it is ozzie , jeffy , tim , tyler... What i like about transformation conferences is that they always come up with new information in a short fashion, you get to hear multiple RSD guys about their experiences and how they processed things. What i got out of this when i first started watching it many years ago ? Well alot different things actually.. since multiple RSD guys are giving information.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fraDFydK-8 i add other stuff later.. some random books and also stuff by david D |
