We're about to be found out...

Just saw an advert and Channel 4 are doing a series of documentaries on the lives of people, one of them being a PUA. Not much detail really other than that. Pretty sure the game will get a mention as well as MM etc, the network of videos and of course the various forums. This series starts this Friday I believe at 7:35 but it ISN'T the one about the PUA.

Will keep you update on when it's on and will hope to provide a transcript when it's on.

Fingers crossed,

Slick. 8)

Update...

It's on this Friday 7:35, Channel 4

"First Cut: The Rules Of Seduction"

Ladies, welcome to the hidden world of the pick-up artist, a shadowy club of lechers who've codified a series of tricks and routines they claim can be learnt by any man to bed any woman. This documentary is the fruit of six months inside "the game" - the players of which are an underground network of rakes reaching from Essex to LA, with thousands of disciples across the globe.

FUCK!!!!

the only good thing about it is that it's only 25 mins long, but I'm gonna record it and let people know what happens!

Well I wouldn't worry too much about it, stay away from using anything they put on the show. We're coming to the time where Natural game is going to rise to the top. The old ways of MM and all the canned material so many guys use is growing old and tired.

Get behind the routines and methods to find the principles underneath them. If you can really internalize the concepts that underly all of the canned material and routines, I think you guys will be fine. That doesn't just go for you guys over in the UK, but Americans as well.

Although from the excerpt you gave it sure doesn't sound like they're going to have an unbiased opinion using words like: "Shadowy club of lechers," "tricks," and "disciples." Wish I could watch this too!

Best of luck and no worries,

~Muse

Well its true that every extra person that knows the PUA lowers its value doesn't it? Do you guys think that there will come a time that just everyone will be exposed to this?

That T.V. show cant help :(

Do we have something to worry about PUA going mainstream?

i'm not THAT worried about it, they have a lot to cover and 25 mins is nothing, especially if you factor in commercials. There will still be plenty stuff left for us to use i reckon. Plus, the British media are usually shit when it comes to making stuff like this. Guaranteed though it will mention The Game

Any chance that you can post it on youtube so people in the US can watch it? I kind of want to see it now. As for going mainstream, this won't really change things. In the US the Pickup Artist didn't really alter the game at all, at least for my age group ( 18 ). I don't think that people really make the connections when you are talking to them, unless you use the really obvious openers like, "Do you floss before or after you brush?". Anyway, after a few months they will most likely forget about it all together so I would just watch it and not use any material they show for a while. It doesn't sound like it will be totally in depth about routines and such, just about the guy, so I wouldn't worry. At most they will drop names for books like MM and The Game. Let us know how it turns out, and post it on youtube if you can! :D

The only thing that appealing there is that you mentioned its at 7.30ish... HOPEFULLY most girls will be out xmas shopping, getting ready to go out or just doing anything other than watching the tele and paying attention to it... lol

I might just have to Sky+ that so I can see what he reveals and just completely avoid those routines.
