Hey guys I think someone was watching over me on Monday night. I was riding home from the gym on my bike on this bridge by my house, when out of no where this guy riding towards me collides right into me. I banged up my leg pretty bad, there was blood everywhere, at first I thought I broke my leg. I got off my bike and my leg was covered in blood. I hit an artery. The doctors said I bled about a pint of blood. Thank god I had the instinct to call 911 and have the EMT's come and pick me up. I get to the hospital and got about 7 stitches in my leg and an X ray. They sent me home. I'm doing a lot better now guys, I still can't walk normally, but everyday it gets easier. I have some muscle damage as well so I have some spasims every now a then. Now in my good spirted way I want to try and make this incident into a DHV story.. But How??? |

I got into a bike accident last may and I turned my story into quite a nice DHV tale (even though it sounds outlandish it's all true): The fateful day started out with breakfast with a girlfriend who had been becoming too attached. It was really hard but I told her I thought it in her best interest if we didn't see each other for a while. Later that afternoon I was getting some graduation stuff organized at my school and I receive a text message from my boss telling me that I didn't need to come in anymore. Really though, what kind of a guy fires someone over a text message? Anyway, I went home and kinda moped around the house a bit till my roommates told me that they were going to hit a movie in the park. I decided it would be the best thing to get me out of a slump to join them (plus I'd never seen casablanca before). I had to do a few things around the house so I decided to meet them there. After finishing the stuff around the house and picking up a bottle of wine for the movie I started making my way to the park (where the movie was being shown). I was on my bicycle and I had just hit a sprint after a redlight so I could be ahead of traffic when I saw this girl with her blinker on. I anticipated the collision but there was nothing I could do. When the girl hit me her car crushed my Achilles tendon and sent me flying through the air. While in the air I realized I wasn't wearing a helmet so I quickly made attempts to break my own fall. I pushed off another car that was parked with my hand and my other leg swung around and with enough speed to break it on the car. After falling to the ground a girl got out of the second car and stepped on my now broken ankle and she said "oh my god, I need to call you an ambulance". I told her calmly that I was fine and that I just needed to rest for a bit. She ended up calling the ambulance after I realized what bad shape I was in. Two bikers that were riding behind me picked me up out of the street and laid me down in the grass. after sitting there for a bit I realized that I had been placed near an ant bed because I kept picking little sugar ants off my body. There were about eight people surrounding me at this point trying to comfort me but I just didn't need it as I was cracking jokes and laughing at the irony of it all. The girl that hit me came over to see how I was and she was just in tears. She told me that she was really sorry that she hit me and she had no idea how it happened. I told her it was OK and that shit happens. The ambulance ride consisted of me talking on the phone the whole way to the hospital canceling appointments and telling my other boss that I couldn't work the next day. I've used this story many times and everyone laughs when they hear it. It really delivers a number of emotions when I tell it and there are DHV's littered about. |

I am thankful to god that nothing wrong happened with i mean to say your life is safe. But for the next time drive your bike carefully then you will never face this problem. Enjoy your life!
