| Post subject: | Funny number close from booking a holiday.. |
This isn't an amazing field report, it's just something which amused me greatly. On saturday, me and 2 mates went to book a lads holiday for 6 of us in August. We were served by a mid-twenties looking brunette, who i'd probably say was a HB6. I'd say (and i'm sure my friends would) that I am the AMOG out of the 3 of us, and I did most of the talking, and in return received most of the eye-contact from the travel agent. I noticed she had a foreign name, therefore the following conversation took place. Bod: "Pardon my ignorance, but where does your name originate from?" HB6: "Italy, my Dad is Italian." Bod: "Oh brilliant, you must be a good cook then?" HB6: "I am indeed, i do great spaghetti." Bod: "Haha nice. Well I think after we finally sort this bloody holiday out you should invite me and the boys over for a celebratory meal after all the commission you'll be earning. I'll pick up your number afterwards and we'll arrange something" HB6: "*laughs* oh god, sounds like a plan! I knew she was genuinely interested, and I made sure I continued my C+F character all the way through the booking. I also tried to be fairly forward and personal with my questions, to show off confidence. I found out she lived in a flat in town, and she lived on her own with her 4 year old daughter. She was 26, and she wasn't with the Dad. She asked how old I was, I made her guess before revealing I was 20. I made a comment along the lines of 'ah nice, an older girl.. don't worry i tend to find mature girls more fun!' to try and tell her that I wasn't intimidated by her age, nor had I never been with a 26 year old before. (I actually haven't though!) I text her later that night saying sorry we couldn't make the meal as we had a better offer from a rival travel agent. We had a bit of banter about this before she asked me if I fancied a drink in town on Friday, just the two of us. I said I should be free but would let her know. Could be interesting.. few drinks and back to hers maybe? Apparently single Mum's are usually quite eager for a bit!? |
