Moral Police: A Field report from India This happened some days back when i with 2 wings were sarging in streets: In a city in INDIA. IN Words of My Wingman #1: .I was out with 2 of my wings..we were on the street.. I was like..if I see a lone wolf, I will go direct (jeremy soul style) .. So I see one approaching in front of me.. i detach from my group.. I open..but in the moment change the opener to a Functional one.(hey..I like ur slippers..where did u get it from? I am looking for something similar for my niece..bla bla bla..I eject) I see my wings(ME and the another wing) at a distance..I go up to them for debriefing.. I Noticed a tall man, with mustache with his wife and a kid following me..I felt its normal..As I was debriefing to my wing I saw another lone wolf approaching us.. as I decide to approach her or not.. Wing(wing #2 to #1): "hey dont open this one..something weird is happening" the guy behind us is talking to someone over the phone.. he says in Kannada that some 3 guys are eve teasing on girls..come quick.. #1: Whoa! WTF!! we didnt do anything wrong..Lets get the hell outta here..I dont want any trouble..that tall man with mustache obviously was a cop..he was calling for backup..he looked pretty pissed.. I heard him say "Bastards"..I felt really uncomfortable about it and walked the hell outta there with one of my wing..We didnt look back.. The 3rd guy(me)who was with us got detached..We called him after a while and he said he had to run away from there as the Man was trying to forcefully make him stay there till the police back-up arrives.. Me and my wing just got the hell out of that area for a while.. Now my part : I was being a hero. Just to confirm what he was upto. Just went directly to the man and asked the way to the mall. And he caught me by my hand and said. Wait let the police come, ill let you know how to. Me: Who are you? What did I do? He: wait ill show you who I am. Than he tried to catch my collar. I was terrified. He was strong too. I just pushed him and ran like hell. Got an Auto ( Tuk-tuk) and went back home asap. It was freaking experience , good that nothing happened to us but still. Cant we even sarge, we weren teasing anybody , neither making fun of anyone. Has something similar ever happened to anyone ?? Would love to Hear your experience. Or is it that, This can happen only in INDIA?? |

hey, i m from new delhi...i dont think u did anythin wrong...but police here can suck big tym here...this is one thing that sucks about india.i understand ur pain buddy but thanks for the field report let us all indian puas device a method to disarm this police trap.. i think if we hv some contacts in the higher authorities we can b safe but its not really possible 4 every1 to have some contacts there..but we have 2 do somethin abt it. afterall we also want women in our lives i think till there is some fool-proof method deviced for this police thing lets just approach in the places where it ain't dat weird like malls or somethin..i know it will limit the no. of women in our lives but police here is really bad |

1) I don't think talking to people is illegal in India (is it?) 2) If you go with direct openers, some people may think is harassing (is totaly not), but anyway, if you're not comfortable with direct, go with indirect/opinion openers. 3) If you ask for directions, NOBODY will stop you and say you're harassing someone. 4) AVOID staying all of you in the same place, and avoid looking like "predators" (like staying there and approach girls that passes by). At the contrary, walk around the mall as you're actually shopping. You can even go there with a bag or something to "prove" you're buying stuff! 5) The girl will NEVER call for harassment if you're polite, calm and confident. Maybe some freaking old granny will frown his nose because he got laid for the first time when he was 30yo with an arranged marriage, and hate your guts... If you see a lot of those kind of people around staring at you, change location, the mall is big, approach in shops and not in alleys... |

I am an Indian. Approached women on street. Never been through authorities. (Though, I'd love to show cops their place some time) Now, importantly, ours is a rather conventional culture still. I'd suggest you to do approaches in Malls and Night clubs. Leave the Street Game to the Pros or the Naturals. They can carry the right attitude to make it work for them without coming into conflict with any sort of authority figures. P.S. Bribes work. But, I didn't tell you that.

If you think that there is potential for trouble in your sarging location then you may also take a quick survey of the place to check if there are any cops nearby. Peace. |
