I went to this 21st birthday party (I'm 22) for one of my brother's friends who I know pretty well too with my roommates this past weekend. Anyway it was a small apartment party with the lights out and flashing lights ect so it was hard to see but 50 people probably ended up showing up 20 of which I already knew and there were way more guys than girls unfortunately. Half of the good looking girls were from out of country (latino ect.) since his roommates are hispanic. So they only spoke to hispanic guys and other hispanic friends. Foreigners are really cliquish at my school. There were some other cute girls. Anyway I literally stood and mingled for a bit and couldn't find any girls I was interested in or those who didn't already have boyfriends. There were lots of boyfriends there. So I'm standing around looking chill with a buzz going sipping my drink (I've had 5 or so at this point) and this cute girl looks at me and I make eye contact with her and smile and she comes up to me 12 inches from my face asking for my number! Me: I laugh and say ...why...I don't even know you ect.? Me: Then quickly say ....ok but i'm only giving it to you if you promise to call me or return my call.., I don't give my number to girls I don't know very often ect. Her: yeah! I promise of course! (I'm a little drunk so I'm not as witty but I know the game still) I start to pull out my phone and this dude steps in between us saying "she's with me ect." and takes her away . Now I'll admit I'm 6'0 210, can bench 300lb have past martial arts experience ect so I'm not scared of this guy or anything since he probably weighed 40lbs less than I did but the same height but I was just like ...what just happened? So I find this girl again like 20 minutes later and I looked at her and: me: you look familiar do I know you? her: yea..sorry that's my ex...he's creepy and following me around me: like is he harassing you is he dangerous ect? her: no bla bla bla(can't remember what she said). me: do you still want my number? her: yeah totally! so I start to give it to her again and this guy comes up and takes her away again and comes back saying him: you don't do "this" to girls as he sort of pushed my chest me: wtf are you talking about him: I saw you do "this" to a girl back there me: no you must have seen someone else, I don't touch girls I don't know like that,(no hard feelings man are we cool and I extend my hand) and he shakes it ect. me: is that your girlfriend? him: (forget what he said exactly) yeah we had a fight/rough ground ect/ downhill ect. me: Sorry man, I didn't know, she came up to me asking for my number and said your some creepy guy following her around so .... him: yeah yeah I know ect. me: I can help you get her back, you shouldn't follow her around like that, you just driver her further away. Just ignore her and go home and she'll come after you eventually. Him: nah nah it's fine and walks away Unfortunately that was the only interesting thing that happened there, it quickly emptied out and we all went home. So what should I have done? I figure alpha males don't fight or start fights but did I do the right think by disarming this guy? I was like "I should either stick up for myself which could start a fight or just disarm him and friend him ect." If I started a fight I probably would have been asked to leave too ect. I think I did right, but what should I do in this situation in the future. What do you guys do if guys cock block you? |

This kind of scenario when girls come to you and push directly for a visible clear interaction smells a LOT like jealousy plot to me. I don't know exactly the situation there, but if a girl comes to me asking for my number, KNOWING that her needy AFC "ex"-boyfriend is looking and will act on it, I won't give her a lot of credit... Girls are natural born PUA, so you should biuld some "bitch shield" as well when they behave out of the line. I don't know if that was your case, but the situation stinks somehow... |

You did the right thing - you were polite to him and tried to help him out - he was the one being a dick. The only thing in that situation I would have done is write down my number elsewhere and quickly give it to her to avoid the possibility of him seeing the interaction the second time around. |

thanks guys, yea I wish I had thought of that. Then again she was probably also a little drunk and would have lost it. Oh well, it was a first for me though, never been in that situation. I figure only AFC's pick fights, alpha's have no need to fight, at least that's the mentality I figure since even at the time surprisingly I just didn't care, there were other girls. |
