Ah yes the good old pretending to be gay opener that I know all too well and have used countless times. And often led to some positive outcomes but with a catch.

On the one hand it is great as you get into her comfort zone easily and can become a good friend and she gives you cuddles too because she thinks you are not a threat and can be just like a teddy bear. However, if she does that to you then you will have to take some deep breaths and try not to show that she is getting you excited. Otherwise you will have messed up big time.

Trouble is when I have done a gay-ish opener, I may not have explicitly said I wa sgay but I gave off some limp hand mannerisms that would register on anyone's gaydar. It can get kino too but maybe if you want to do some gay opner that leaves things ambiguous try using some gay-ish body language but DO NOT actually say anything about being gay/straight/bi or whatever yet. Just let her go into a sense of mystery and leave her to work it out. Then see how any future meet ups go.

Last night I was out with 3 guys and 5 girls and we went to a very busy bar and got a table and at the end of the table was an HB 4 and a HB 9. Of course, all of the guys at the bar was hitting on HB9 and buying them drinks (including one of the guys I was with and was sitting directly next to her) I was sitting diagonal from her. When my friend left to buy her a drink I told her: FEARLESS: You must have guys always offering to buy you drinks (She said everything with a nice big smile) HB9: Actually not really FEARLESS: Well, I'm gay so you don't have to worry about me (HUGE SMILE) HB9: Really? My best friend is gay FEARLESS: You don't believe me? You're a girl you should have a solid gaydar HB9: I don't really have a good gaydar! Throughout our visit I was talking mainly to the girls within our group but HB9 was giving me really good eye contact throughout the night since she was sitting diagonal from me. My friend actually bought so many drinks for this girl that there were so many on the table she knocked one over and spllied it on the table! I very politely grabbed the napkins and cleaned up the mess. She apologized for being a sloppy drunk making sure I didn't have any on me Before I was leaving for the night I tried getting HB9s attention but she was talking to some guy. One of her friends saw I was trying to get her attention and approached me. She said I am very polite and asked me for my name. She told me the guy HB9 was tlaking to was her (the friends) fiance. I went up to HB9 put my arm around her and said FEARLESS: hey, I'm leaving why don't you give me your number and we can go get some drinks sometime. HB9: Ok that sounds great. You're very well dressed. my number xxxxxxx FEARLESS: OK thanks. I just called you with my number She then asked me what my name is and then I said goodnight and got her to kiss me on the cheek. I'm thinking about texting her today. What do you think about this situation?

Why ?! Why?! would anyone do that unless their trying to make it hard for them ? Im gay ................. you dont have to worry about me hitting on you translation Hi I want to cockblock myself will you go along with it ? Sure .... If you wanna use gay in any opener or situation try this " Can I ask you a question, how do you deal with guys that hit on you ? coz a guy has totally just started hitting on me and i freaked out"

Opening up by telling her you're gay is pretty much just creating so many more issues for you, there's no way she's going to believe that she turned you straight, and when she finds out that you lied just to get close to her she's going to be disgusted by you. It's a very bad move on your part. There are ways to come back from it, but all in all not a good choice I would recommend not doing that ever again.

Well, you can always go for it in the comfort zone... "I actually lied to you, I'm not strictly gay, I'm a little bi... I've been with womens sometimes etc etc, but I usually found them annoying, you're kind of different" I dont think the situation is compromised yet...
