Okay my fellow PUAs. It's me again, TheAspiredOne. This time, I'm writting in from Kuching in Malaysia (I know, it sounds liek I travel a lot but it's just the holidays right now and my dad's enthusiastic). So again, today I found a way to isolate myself from my family(like I usually do to actually be comfortable sarging). So, I'm staying at the 360 hotel here and there is a mall connected to it called hock lee complex (got a fucking awesome guitar store there, the main attraction of the mall). And for some reason today is like some holiday or whatever in malaysia so half the shops are closed and there are not too many people around. Anyways, I go to a super market there to warm up and I approached this grocer shopper I'd say maybe a HB7. And asked her if she knew whether the store had my fav mints. Our interaction went a lil something like this: TAO: Excuse me, I was wondering if you could help me... HB cuts in: Owh srry I don't work here... TAO: I know. haha. I just thought you could help me just the same. Was wondering if you know if they have those halls mints here. HB: Hmm, they usually, errr well (basically fumbling cause she dunno). TAO: Hm,.. you don't come here ery often do you,.. hehe HB: yea... hehe, why don't you ask those guys over there? Pointing to a lone wolf 5 who looked like she worked there. Well that wasn't much of an interaction but I thought well, I'm ready to start approaching. So I go up and scout around for good shop assiatnts to game on. (also went through the local arcade. I swear everyone there looks like a mobster). SO I went up and saw this hb7.5 working at a clothing store for girls. After reading Maseratos posts, I thought I'd try his tactic a bit and I went in with 'hey, could you help me? I'm trying to find a pair of jeans for a friend of mine" At first they couldn't catch what I was saying (if was a like 5 set mind you, of shop assiatnts coming to the call of this cute charismatic guy,.. sort of). They thought I meant I was looking for the bathroom or something, kept pointing at some general direction away from the store. Anyways, after clarifying, I saw that same hb7 I warmed up with at the supermarket. Apparently she works here as well. I vibed pretty well with the group. My target was the hb7.5 asian shop assitant. The hb7 from the super market was the one helping me and showing me the different styles. I'd be joking around about how different countries have different sizes (my waist is 33 and apparently thats the biggest size they have there and it's HUGE!), how I wanted the jeans that came with a white belt, how I might wanna try it on to see if it would fit on me and basically just had a great vibe going on with them. But then my problem was that I never really left the opener. How do you guys do this? I'm like "well, I'm not sure if it'll fit her but it defintiely looks her style" or "yea, it's like in america, it's 33, in europe, it's 27, asia is like 5 (talking bout the different sizing systems)" but it never really leaves the opener. SO in the end, without ever closing, I tell them 'I'm not sure bout the size so I'm gonna confirm it and Imight come back tomorrow. The hb7 from the supermarket seemed happy. She was like 'okay,. come see me' I could really tell that they were all enjoying my vibe but i just dunno how to close it. |
