Let me preface this by saying that this is the first true and absolute attempt at utilizing the technical aspects of the game in college. After the pickup, i feel like a million bucks and full of confidence!
APPROACH:
I'm at my friends and i notice this hb8 (harder to tell considering it was a black-light party) who keeps bumping into me. So I figure this would be a perfect opportunity to use the "Ouch, that kind of hurts" *smile* routine. Worked flawlessly. She laughs/apologizes and puts her hand on my shoulder and fake apologizes. I start negging her with "you know most girls take me on a date before they're allowed to put their hands on me...blah, blah, blah..." and other similar negs. She keeps leaning on me and making other kino moves, so i figure it's time to...
ISOLATE:
As soon as i see the nearby couch open up I say "I've been waiting for this couch to open all night" and walk over and sit down. She follows immediately and as soon as she sits down I said "Oooh, that seat was actually taken..." She awkwardly scoots over one seat and i move to where she had just left and acted like nothing was out of the ordinary, all the while avoiding her gaze. She laughed so i laughed back and we started talking bullshit, classes, majors, cars (we actually played a game where i guessed her favorite cars and after finding them out gave her a little cold reading about how her choices affected her personality blah, blah, blah).
COMPETITION:
After a while I get up to look for my friend (who was my ride) and told her not to move, she agreed with a doggy- dinner-bowl look. When i returned I noticed another guy sitting in my spot, so I positioned myself on the other side of my target. My target was quick to introduce us and when he asked how we knew each other I replied, "Oh we've been soulmates for a while, but I just met her." My target laughed, the AFC stumbled, tried to steal my line by claiming that he and my target were soulmates, and was then killed on the spot when my target (still smiling/laughing) turned to him and said that she "doesn't swing like that."
CLOSING:
At this point i was just enjoying the conversation until i finally made a false-time constraint so that I could end it. And this is where it got tricky:
Me: Listen, my friend needs me to drive back, but I'd really like to continue this conversation. Maybe even get a "study group" going (we happened to have the same class together), how should we make that happen?
HB8: Let me give you my phone number!
(I punch it into my phone)
Me: Fantastic, kiss goodbye?
(She leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek. Although I could have just run with it, I was shooting for a full K-close, soo...)
Me: *disapproving look* C'mon, i know you can do better.
HB8: Wellll...i just dont want to be one of.......[Insert typical LMR here]
Me: Hmmm, I'll forgive you this time *wink*

So i guess what I'm truly looking for is any and absolutely all advice on any aspect of this field report, especially how to overcome LMR while keeping with the established false-time constraint.
PS. I'd also like to point out that during this whole interaction I was utilizing Gambler's levels of physical escalation, which worked like a freaking charm, perfect environment for it too considering how loud it was.
