| Post subject: | Good Eye Contact, Not Much Talking...Did I Freak Her Out? |
I was sitting down next to a friend in class Monday, and she waves to her really cute friend and tells her to sit by us. She sits next to me. We introduce each other..listen to lecture, class is over whatever. The next night I get through working out with some friends at school and as I was walking out I see a couple of cute girls sitting by some lockers just talking. I look up and its the cute girl from class (forgot her name though) we made good Eye Contact, big smiles from both of us. She says Hey! After awhile I say hey back. It was kind of an awkward pause. I jog a lap with my friends, Come back to finish up abs, I pass by her and we made good eye contact again, big smiles from both of us again...I kind of pause and don't say anything for a while...then I say why do you keep staring at me?..she says you're the one staring at me! At this point I thought man I'm being creepy...Finish up abs, pass by her again but we don't look at each other. 20 minutes later...I walk to my car, then walk back into the gym to get some water. I see her again. I wave from a distance...as we get closer, with a big smile on my face I tell her to stop stalking me. She laughs, big smile on her face and she tells me to quit following her. Did I freak her out? Good eye contact but not too much verbal stuff. When I work out I don't like to talk too much. I'll probably see this girl again in class next week, and I'll probably get her number. |

Mate, those were definite IOI's you just didn't notice how you're actually getting some game going!!! Nothing beats a good smile to connect to another person, does it not only show that you acknowledge her but subconsciously implying you're a fun chap to hang with which works when framing yourself as a "catch". Another thing, you also had her disarmed by citing an "unintentional" neg that should've also loosened everything up and that's if your target would acknowledge and respond in a good way in which in your case is a "smile". Now tell me that isn't a good thing and I'll castrate myself. Cheers, Kraken |

Dude, Smiling and eye contacts are biggest IOIs. You are basically fucking everything up except the girl. It won't be a surprise if she doesn't respond to you anymore. I have been in those situations before and I used to do exactly what you are doing right now. So, next time if someone smiles and makes eye contact and you know game is on, have some fucking balls, go up to her and say if she would like to exchange phone numbers and hang out with her. Don't over analyze everything. Just do it All the best! |

@wannabe: thanks man. Yea man Eye Contact and Smiles means its on, which mean its an automatic number close! Still working on being consistent with everything else that comes after that. Trust me she will talk to me again. I know she's interested. I'm in a different zone when I'm at the gym...I'm there to work out. @Kraken: Unintentional Neg? If this chick shows up to class Monday, the number close should be automatic like free throw! Also that day I had just started to read "60 years of challenge." At that point all I understood is that it's a lot of non-verbal and body language stuff. I kept really good eye contact with her the whole time and didn't say much. 60's stuff seems pretty cool. Yall should check it out! |
