| Post subject: | Night club game....unsucessful! |
So me and some buddies and a few lady friends of ours went to a club. We had been there a week earlier and I usually use it to try new things out. But I found out tonight that I got no where at all! I started out trying my G-string opener on a 2 set and the girl actually finished the story for me(it was tried on her) I put on a big smile and told them to have fun tonight and left. I didnt let it affect me and I tried the same opener again on another 2 set. This time the 2 girls let me finish however half way in the one(not my target) said this has to be a fake story. They gave me their opinion and sent me on my way. I decided to have a little bit of fun and just do some dancing with my friends I had come with. I noticed a girl kept making eye contact with me and she was dancing alone. But when i started to walk over another guy beat me too it. I decided that this was my target for the rest of the night. She was in a large group of ppl(mostly guys) and I knew the only way to get to her was to befriend them. I had never approached a mixed set before so what better than to try it tonight. I walked up and asked what i thought was the AMOG of the group if he was having any fun. Me:Having a good time tonight? AMOG:not really actually me:That sucks this place is lame tonight. I was here last week and it was off the hook AMOG: where you from? I told him where i was from and he was actually pretty cool guy as we talked more girls came up and joined the group. After some light conversation I asked the girls if they could give me their opinion on a problem my friend was having? I used the Jealous girlfriend opener(even though i wasnt opening) and they started talking and giving me their advice except for my target. She pretty much set their quietly listening to me talk but nothing else. I was confused and didn't even get to neg her other than once about her being quiet and she just smiled and didnt say anything. I had told them that i had to get back to my friends but it was nice meeting them and I left. After I left i tried a couple more sets with little success. But I did get a few laughs and what seemed to be a little interest but other than that a big flop! I know there is a lot of mistakes in there but this was my only second time going to a club to try and pick up woman. I met my goal which was to be confident, smile meet some new ppl and try a few things out that i have picked up reading other ppls posts. If anyone can give me some pointers or some advice I appreciate Thanks |

TPmav, You're off to a good start for your second night out. You'll find that befriending the amog and approaching him is many times the way to go. The only thing I would suggest is once you get into a set like that where everyone is talking to you for the most part, STAY! You need to focus on staying in set as long as possible, well until you are blown out really. You have to push your interactions. You need to get use to awkward moments of silence and other things get comfortable being in the group you just opened. You'll find its very hard to be blown out and most of the time you can stay in set the whole night if you wanted to. People are very accepting of things. Good job, keep up the good work man! Jon |
