Hey everyone, this my first post. Quick info: -26 -Mechanical engineer -ex airforce -love women (both sex and socially) -new england -play guitar or try rather (work in progress) -die hard Dallas Cowboys fan Ok, so I started checking this PUA thing out about month and a half ago for whatever reason. I really like the concept of "skillset" and not some unattainable intrinsic ability that people are born with. So I read posts and watch vids and in general sunk my teeth into this stuff. I had only really cold approached a few women before with crap results. A month and a half ago I was reading and thinking, "I cant just approach women with reckless abandon like these guys are saying". As the weeks went by that seemingly concrete notion started to breakaway and I did first approach in a bar like 2 weeks ago. Nothing special maybe a HB6 or 7. I just threw my self in. Chatted with her for like 10 mins, went for #close and got rejected. That was the only one I did that night but I was happy for the initiative. Next week I did only one as well and it went nowhere. So I knew I had to up my "rate of approaches" to improve. Last week I just said fuck it and started approaching girls like a tommy gun. I didn't have any lines. In fact I just turned my brain off, went in, treated the interaction like a pure learning one. As if I was in a social dynamics class room and I'm the student and I am not ashamed of not being a master yet. This attitude worked good enough to allow me to relax and have fun. Hell I even cavemaned a few broads. I got rejected many a time, usually never that rude, and usually not by the whole group. No #closes though still. So over the coarse of last weekend maybe 25 approaches in 2 nights with some really fun interactions. Ok this week. Same mindset. And I really like the idea of coming into the club and talking to a set immediately about whatever. And just keep up the flow. I danced with a bunch of chicks. Got a number. Turned a rude girlss friends on her by keeping my cool and continuing to be smooth with her. Got some Latinas to show me all the Spanish dancing stuff, (regetone, salsa, machata etc etc.....i suck but fun). I go up to this HB 9 with her friends. Roll in relaxed. Pull her to dance floor. We dance she qualifies her self to me. After she wants me to come back to with her to friends. I say ill be back later. (this was prolly a fuck up). She opens me later outside with warm smile and continues to qualify herself showing me her ID and stuff. Then she asks me my Bday. Not thinking I tell her and she rattles off some astrology bullshit that we arent good together. I laugh, but I should have been like slow down we just me but whatever. After this her mood falls through the floor. I sit next to her later and try to plow for the number. I ask if our two signs can "hang out" she says yes. I hand her my phone without asking for her number. After she gives it back i hug and kiss her then she leaves. I check my phone later.....no number at all...bahahahah....not even the common decency to put a fake one in. So now im really intrigued that a girl and a student of college would really let a astrology difference affect her mood so. So what do you guys think. I know I have a long road ahead but if I can keep up some momentum then I think I will do ok. One last thing when reading up on Alpha Male traits one that stuck out to me was the concept of "if it can be done, I have just a good a chance as anyone". This has been my life concept for a long time, except I never applied it to women. |

Keep up the good work. One thing you'll notice is that not every set will go well. Some people just have ego issues that causes them to become social piranhas and makes them only talk to people they feel are of higher status than themselves, just to feed their ego's even more. It's all very stupid, and it helps that by sticking to these methods of interacting with people, you'll be able to filter through all those negative people, and meet genuinely good people. Next time a girl pulls the astronomy bullshit, just say something along the lines like... "I know a method of reading people that is much better than that astrology bullshit." *Then do the cube test to her* She'll be amazed by it...I guarantee it. Then finish with saying... "Now isn't that better than some crap like 'You were born the night the moon aligned with Uranus, which makes you a goat?' I believe it is..." End of routine. |
