Post subject:  Felt like a PUA for the first time.

Alright. I went to a frat party at the local university on tuesday. I knew there were going to be tons of HB's there, but also a lot of AMOGs. Due to the fact that it was a closed party in terms of who can come, I couldn't bring any girls with me, which is what I usually do to create instant social proof (got this from AFCadam).

So, I went in with this strategy:

1. be peacocked as hell.
I wore neon yellow and pink sunglasses, a shirt with a pink dinosaur wearing 3-d glasses, bright plaid shorts, a watch, and teal and orange shoes. You could definitely pick me out of the crowd.

2. say hi and learn names (if only for the night) to as many people as possible.

I developed this particular part of my game due to not knowing hardly anyone at this party (or any party i go to). What I do is: for the first half hour, I just drink and say hi to people. I shake their hand and say "whats up man, i'm _____" or "nice to meet you, i'm _____" I usually don't start in on any small talk or attraction building things yet. Then just go around remembering people's names (loudly), people probably think you're a little wierd, but everyone else is saying hi to you, so they do the same without knowing that you met everyone else that night too. I do this until I know names of half the people, and 3/4 of the people know who I am. This way when i'm talking to sets, I have people giving me high 5's, yelling my name, getting my attention. The girls will have no idea that when i came there that night i didn't know anyone.

3. open sets.

pretty self explanatory.

So, I got to this party and as I expected, tons of AMOG's. But also, tons of bitches. Right off the bat, I started talking to mixed sets, introducing myself, getting everyone to know my name. Once I had done this, I started opening sets.

The First set I opened was a 2-set, two blondes, about 8.5-9.5. I talked to them for a whileabout nothing, it wasn't really going anywhere so I made a time constraint and moved on. (making sure they would remember my name for future social proof)

next set I opened was another 2 set, both burnettes, looking for someone obviously.

ME: You two look like you're looking for someone. I lost my friends too, can you help me look?

HB: We're looking for whitney and whitney. You help us.

ME: I'm looking for the kid with the giant jew fro.

HB: laughing, seriously

ME: ya, he's short white, and has a huge afro, his names----

Some random guy that was walking by interupts me: JEREMY! drew's right up there!

ME: thanks man! ...well it was nice meeting both of you...*holding my hand out to shake.

HB: I'm HB1, this is HB2, nice to meet you jeremy.

I exited the set.

next set was a very cute blonde HB9 wearing what appeared to be a flannel shirt and a dark skined girl with brown hair.

ME: Is this real flannel? *feeling her shirt

HB: *kind of laughing...Oh, no, its just really thin material. I wish it was flannel, its a little bit cold outside.

ME: ya, its kinda chilly.

HB: I like your sunglasses. do you go here?

ME: thanks...no i don't actually. I go to ___ college>

HB: Oh, really! I go there too! where do you live at?

We talked about college and where we live for like 10 minutes. I was getting mad IOI's from the set from before.

I go back to the other set, they introduced me to whitney and whitney. who were both very cute. I introduced one of my good looking friends and hooked him up with whitney. Then got a good makeout session with one of the HB's before she had to leave with her friends. got the number and went to sleep.

I guess I should also start doing the first half hour thing which you mentioned.
Opening is one of the hardest parts for me

ya dude, opening used to be really hard for me too.

but if you go open nearly everyone, guys and girls, then people will just think you know everyone and they feel like they should know who you are and no one thinks you're strange.
