| Post subject: | FR Bartender pickup attempt |
So i am not really new to the game but very new to actually doing it. Im workin away from home for summer so its motivated me to start approaching people. i was at a bar and wrote my number on a napkin and when i was leaving i walked up to the bartender and gave it to her and said we should do something sometime. i told her i was here for the summer and was trying to smile during our exchange but i was so nervous i almost dropped a deuce on her shoes and couldnt even force a smile. needless to say she never called. but she seemed happy at the time so i felt good about that. Does anybody have any suggestions?? |

How was the interaction? What did you say to her? How did she response? Give more information. |

It was pretty brief i just walked up gave her my number and said we should do something sometime and she said "should we?" and i said "ya im here for the summer im from sopkane" and then i left. I had seen her lookin at me alot so im pretty sure she was interested in me wich is why i did it in the first place. this was my first approach by the way. |

I dont know whether this even works !! But for some reason I'm really tempted to try it. Create attraction and then just talk to her briefly and then give HER your number. The chances of a call are less to non but something really makes me want to try this. The whole giving your number out abruptly !!

Does anybody have any suggestions?? @ Marc : I tried something like that yesterday (short attraction) where I touched this girl (running my hands sensually from her shoulder all the way down her arm) pretending I had to pass. This was very interesting cos she turned her head and gave me that horny look together with a smile. I worked this into a routine. It allows you to notice if she's attracted to you right away (saves time and very effective). |

Ha, this sort of reminds of my Day 2 report you commented on. The bartender seemed happy to talk to me and the conversation went well. I think you should of had a good conversation with her first, I wouldn't have done what you have done, rather the second time I was at the bar and held a conversation with her, then I would have invited her out. That way she would be more comfortable with me, heck I might wait for the third or fourth time, making sure we talked each time were there. Ya, I know there are plenty of PUAs on this forum that would ask her that night and get away with it. But if youre at my skill level like you suggest it would probably be the best approach. Hey, but you can still talk to her next time and bust her for not calling, in a cute sort of way ("Ha, I knew you would probably lose the napkin i gave ya, you remind me of my little sister, man is she forgetful") I would just concentrate on holding a good conversation, then if things go well ask her out. Man, I think I'm going back to that bar do what I just suggested....that bartender was cute! |
