Post subject:  Gaming a foreign girl at work - sticking point!
Ok so there's this hot German girl that's working at my place for 6 weeks. I met her in a meeting and didn't waste any time gaming her.

After a few email exchanges, I plucked up the courage to ask to meet me on a coffee break (on campus) to which she was totally receptive! Since then we've done a few more coffee breaks and lunch together.

In between this I seeded that I was going shoe-shopping in London for my niece on the w/end to get the number close :)

All the time we're together I making sure I'm doing everything 'right'. Good body language i.e. not leaning in too much. Style's LAS VEGAS stuff. Ran a couple of DHV routines on her (i.e. Cs versus Us), The Cube.

Her body language is good. Leaning in, playing with her hair, touching her face, smiling etc. Not too bad indeed. Everyone walking by and sees us thinks I'm some kind of PUA god, lol! 8)

Now here's the problem. Everytime we're together I feel like I'm forever 'carrying' the conversation :evil: Her spoken English isn't the best so I'm wondering whether it's because of this or what??

There are sometimes very awkward lulls and silences between us and it's almost left to me to re-ignite the conversation with a witty remark about something. After doing this all week my brain is almost fried!! Lol.

We met yesterday for our shoe-shopping 'date'...and man did it completely bomb out, lol! There were more lulls and silences than I could ever imagine...it was a nightmare!

In between the shopping we went for a meal and also to a pub (i.e. Comfort Building locations) but again the conversation was friendly but flat. All she drank was mineral water and coffee! Toward the end, I knew I had to push it...so asked if she wanted to grab another drink but she said she was going to a concert later so I thanked her for her help and we went our seperate ways.

Thing is guys what could I and should I have done differently?? :? The comfort is built but the awkward lulls in the convo absolutely kill all my hard work. I absolutely refuse to be her entertainer.

Back at work tomorrow...so where do I go from here?! :?

Hey mate,

Good to know you are improving your game! From my point of view, the problem here is , you need to take her to a next level. Ask her whats she likes doing , bring her to different places (more active places eg.. Bowling, Pool, Arcarde, German Pub ...).Dating a foreign girl has a positive side, so the next time you meet , impress her by specking basic german words or sentence . In this way, She will have more to interact with you.From my experience, If the girls talks more than me , It already game on . Good luck with that!

One more thing , If you ever want to go sagging in central london , let me know.

First positives: She's meeting you, she's given you the number, she's come shopping, and most important she's doing all this DESPITE all the awkward silences. So long as you've kino'd to be clear this isn't a LJBF then I'd be taking these as strong IOIs.

Negatives: You haven't got much time to turn this around before you are LJBFed.

If I was in this situation, I'd kino escalate and invite her to physical activity dates where you don't expect to talk much. Also, learn to enjoy the silences. When you hit one, lean back, smile and just look like you are so comfortable with her that you don't even need to talk.

Guys - thanks for the replies! My main sticking point is kino-escalation. It's so much easier when sarging in a bar/club but I'm at work here. Of course there's a way to kino escalate in any situation but clearly I haven't mastered this (yet!) :wink:

Met her for coffee this evening and things seemed to flow a bit better. Arranged to do lunch with her tomorrow (again my idea) but thinking of thinking of texting her to blow this off (to introduce a bit of unpredicatability into my game) and meet later. Yeah I know it doesn't sound like much...but fuck it, I'm working with what I got here :P

Another David DeAngelo thing was to be the first to mention "how I really like her as a friend" first. Hoping this while strip out a bit of the non-needyness.

As for the kino I'm thinking of playfully suggesting thumb wrestling, lol Just gotta find an excuse to thumb wrestle now!

Mr Aces - yeah I can already speak a bit of German which is why I've got 'this far' :wink: I just gotta move it on a bit now but don't know how to.

Btw - totally up for sarging down in London town sometime mate :)
