So one week ago, I went out for my first time since discovering the world of PUA. Now I am only 18, so I can't exactly get into a lot of clubs (speaking of which, does anyone know where I could get a fake id or something??), but a group of friends and I decided to go to a salsa dance club/bar that allowed 18+ entry.
Now just some quick background info:
After I read The Game, I started finding out anything and everything I could about openers and new routines, but the most valuable (and hardest) thing I did was to actually ask people (both girls and guys) whom I don't know very well how I could make a better first impression. I also practiced routines for friends who obviously thought I was an idiot for trying this stuff. The usual was response was, "Man...you don't need all these lines, you just gotta be natural."
After some time at the club and a few warm-up sets, I saw an HB 7 and an HB 8 ordering drinks, and waited for them to sit down. I knew I couldn't pull this one off on my own at this stage (I had only been attempting this stuff for a week), so I used my friend Lua as a makeshift wing man (He doesn't speak english that well so I don't think he knows what a wing man is, but it doesn't matter because he is Brazilian and ladies love that).
This was a somewhat stupid opener, but I just decided to go for it: "Hey, it's my friend's birthday, give him a hug!"
After this, we made some conversation for a while, but one of the girls couldn't hear anything over the music, she kept having to ask what myself, Lua, and the HB 8 were talking about. So I made a suggestion: "Okay, about Lua and HB 8 talk, and me and HB 7 will talk, then we will switch!"
The girls got a kick out of this, and decided to go for it. Just for the record, I let my friend Lua have the HB 8 because it was his birthday
.So I am talking to the HB 7 for a while, just having fluff conversation, "where are you from?" and whatnot, and after awhile I get kind of bored, so we switch.
Now I made a risky move, we were sitting at the bar, and there were only 3 seats for 4 people, so I scoot over and tell the HB 8, "hey, I saved you a seat." She sits next to me on the same bar stool, and I have my arm around her, she puts her arm around me too. We make conversation for a while, and I randomly remove my arm just to confuse her a little bit. This throws her off and she removes her arm as well, looking a little disappointed.
A little later in the conversation, I ask "So do you consider yourself an adventurous person?"
"Well, I guess..." She replies.
"Well let's find out." I went for the kiss close, and it worked. "Wow haha that was pretty smooth..." was her reply, "I wasn't ready though!"
I asked her, "Well do you want to try again?". She did, and we kissed again.
By the way, her friend, the HB 7 saw all of this and looked shocked, I decided to ignore it for now though (more on this in a second.)
After this all went down, we decided to go to the dance floor (definitely one of my weaker points), and we switched again. Now I was dancing with the HB 7. We talked a little more, and I told her, "you know your friend said she was more adventurous than you when she kissed me..."
"What, Really?!..." She said.
"Yeah, do you think she's wrong?" I asked her. She nodded.
I tried the same line again (hey it worked the first time!): "Well lets find out..."
I went in for the kiss, but she moved her head. I wasn't bothered by it, I just said, "Ooh I guess your friend was right!"
She paused for a second, "Okay let me try again."
And we had a nice short little make out
.After this happened I was the man among my friends, and I am really happy that I proved them all wrong. Oh and by the way, all those friends of mine who told me to "just be natural" just ended up huddling at a table together with their beers, and no girls. I never for one second doubted the Mystery Method or any of the other PUA tactics that I picked up, and I was incredibly happy with the results.
