Last night I went out with a bunch of friends. The last bar we went to there was a 2 set (both females hb7 and hb9). It was a karaoke bar and it turns out it was hb7s bday. My friend was going to buy them shots so i waited with them and started talking. Finally I got to the best friend test, they loved it. Then i did the "PEN15" club on the target. Made them laugh, and talked to them for a while. The shots were up, but it turns out that another friend was buying a round for the group i was with (not the girls) so the girls naturally floated back to their group of friends. A minute or two later they looked like they were packing up so i went over and asked if they were leaving. The target told me i had to try to convince the bday girl to stay (hb7). I said: "oh thats alright i think we are leaving too, but me and a couple of my friends are going out friday you guys should tag along." hb9: "that sounds like a lot of fun, you're not lying to me right" (she asked because of a previous conversation) me: "no" hb9: "okay, cause i never lie" me: "then you won't lie about your phone number" hb9: "nope" so i hand her my phone and she puts in her number and part of her name, i finish her name (she didn't know how to work the phone). Then i tell her i will text her and she should text me back so i knew i had the right one. I texted her and no reply. I have a feeling she typed it in wrong?? She seemed comfortable with me and like she really wanted to hang out on friday....but no reply. Anyways, i think i have found her on facebook. My question is do i add her as a friend, send her a message, or send her another text? If i sent her a message on FB what would be a good thing to say with out sounding like a stalker. Here are some things i was thinking: she had a sick friend so i could send her a message say: "did your friend end up puking" she was at the karaoke bar: "i met you at the karaoke bar right?" lastly "i thought you said you never lie" or i would gladly take any other suggestions. Also, i am not 100% sure that its the same person on FB that i met (so i was thinking the 2nd option)...i wish there was someway to check the phone number (I could maybe call tomorrow). Any opinions would be appreciated. |

You may have messed this on up by trying to get in touch with her the very next day. It sounded like she was genuinely interested in seeing you this Fri, untill you turned into a needy AFC. I loved the "PEN15" tease, that was sweet. The next time you give your phone to a HB for a # close, check it when she is done. Ask her to repeat it back to make sure it is right. If she just made up a fake # to get rid of you nicely, she probably won't remember it. If she simply keyed it in wrong, you can correct it and than neg her about being phone retarded or whatever. Now for the FB thing. Do not add her as your friend, she is not your friend yet and that would be creepy stalkerish. If she does not reply to your text dont worry, just try again sometime on thursday. Send her messege "Hi PEN15 girl, my friends and I are going out to XX. Unless you lied about not being a liar, I expect to meet you there" or "Hi HB, I just bought a lie detector and i'm gonna put you in the hotseat this Friday." If you still get no replies, she is either a flake or you have the wrong #. If you want to than try to send an FB messege, make sure it includes the PEN15 thing. If it is the same girl, she will know who you are and either respond with a "why didn't you call?"(or something) or ignore you for life(flake). If its not her, she will just ignore this messege too so no harm done. |

ok so what i did was text her right away...before i leave and after i get a girls number i usually drop the "have you ever played the music game" .... "you have to guess the name of the band/singer who wrote the song playing, and if you do it first everyone else has drink" line. Then after i leave i have something to text about. Then when i got to the next bar i texted her "this is kanye west, drink". Anyways, checking the girls number is good advice, i think i will do that from now on. and yes the PEN15 club does work great, also there is kino if you hold her hand while writing it. I willl try texting her thursday and, if nothing, try her on facebook. If it is the right number and the right person on FB then its over (seems way to desperate), but oh well..i prob. won't see her again anyways. |
